Sorry Lem but I voted for Nick.

Not everyone can carry off a diaper like that. Just sayn'

LOL! I'm w/ Lem, much to Trooper's dismay. The way I have to pee every night I may just go to diapers!

Spinelli...hands down. Anyone who can carry of that outfit is my hero.

I pick Nick!

Is that pic from when he was the house dick @the Drake?

I didn't see Matlock in there.

Look in the diaper. He is in there somewhere. Just sayn'

I thought that was Peter Gunn.

I looked in the diaper and found Matlock, Angela Lansbury, and Gomer Pyle. What has been seen cannot be unseen.

Literature - Philip Marlowe, Mike Hammer, Lew Archer.

TV - Rockford, Magnum, and Sherlock Holmes. Haven't seen a lot of Cannon or Mannix.

They had 77 sunset Strip in rerun with Efrram Zimablist, Jnr, but didn't have a chance to watch it.

ChipS, Spent a beautiful afternoon @ the Oak St. Beach. I always like to walk into the Drake. Nobody I worked is still there, but it's a good place to take a dump instead of public toilets. The C'oq D'or is a classic bar for a drink.

Last week that was.

Cool. I'd like to get out there for a short stay soon. A day at Wrigley, a pie at Lou Malnati's, and a night of MILF hunting at the Lodge.

Gotta admit, as often as I stayed at The Drake, on Walton across from The Knickerbocker, 1990-2006, I never saw Spinelli in that outfit :-)

I have to also admit I sent my daughter to the Swissotel on Wacker Drive last year, just so she could stay in a cool place and still be near the theater she was headed for that weekend.

For me, always it is The Drake. That downstairs bar, the Coq de Orr or whatever, is hilarious 9 times out of 10.

Walked by The Lodge last Thursday. I like to walk amongst the elite homes on Goethe, Astor, etc. Didn't go in The Lodge but it looks status quo from the 80's. That was always a late bar hop stop in my youth. We did stop in Pippins, NOTHING changes there.

Ari, When I worked @ The Drake, the building right next to the Knickerbocker and right across from the Drake were the Playboy offices. A lot of perfect 10's were clerical workers.

This was over 30 years ago, early 80's.

Nick...you want to meet up at the Drake someday, just let me know with enough time to book a flight to Midway. Only place in Chicago I give a rat's ass about...Rush north to State St & Maple. Great chink food there abouts....next door to Morton's.

Ari, I would love it. Are you a baseball fan? There's usually one baseball team playing @ Wrigley.

With those suspender diapers, Nick must have fit right in with the Brooklyn hipsters!

Not much of of a baseball fan, but I can endure a game or so. Let me know, via email (my profile) when and I'll try to be there. Better in the fall.

PS: I have some DOD issues with Chicago District that may be a problem before the middle fall, etc....or not, as I am about to say fuck it all, period. Forever.

Said another way...Nick, tell me when you'll be there.

The Sofitel is a great base of ops for the Rush Street area. And it's close to North Michigan for fun, but far enough away to escape the crowds.

Good bar, too, although the last time I was in it, it looked like half of the couples were looking around for the other couples who promised on Craigslist to meet them there for drinks.....

Somebody say baseball?

Haz, The more the merrier. What about other folks? Chicago is great in the Fall.
