This is the color scheme

This is the Erte print on our wall that is the basis of the color scheme for the new store.

It has bright yellow, hunter green and grey as part of the color scheme. The dresser is a focal point in yellow.

The wallpaper will be grey to serve a frame for the other colors.

The two half tables will be green.

It has been an interesting process.

If it weren't Lisa, I would have grave reservations.

I hate to be the fly in the ointment. But, to my eye.... that rug does NOT go at all with the yellow dresser. The rug is a greyed out "tone" of green. Sage green an the dresser as well as your very lovely Erte print are in clearer "hues".

But...that's just me. It will probably blend well.

What rug?

There is no rug. That is the wallpaper. The wallpaper is grey and black.

I understand the confusion because of this is very confusing to me but Lisa has a handle on it.

The rug under the yellow dresser in your photo? I assumed that it was being used in the shop

No that is the old rug from the front store. I am going to have to replace it soon. But not quite yet.

Lisa wants to redo the front after we finish with the back.

Cool Print. I looked in Images for something Erty in shades of yellow and jade, but didn't find this one. The larger version reveals the hearts more clearly.

Remembering Lisa's adage: It's not 'does it match?' it's 'does it GO?'

I have taught my little girls this. Now they ask, "Mom does this GO?" and I can give them my two cents' worth.

Still working on the drizzling.
