Which Logo should we use?

Well we are forging ahead on the lingerie store and we have to do everything our own selves. We tried to farm out the logo but Lisa ended up designing it herself.

We have to choose between these two finalists. It is a rose with the the name of the store "Le Piege des Boobies" which as you know means "The Boobie Trap" in French.

The consensus is with the first font. What do youse guys think?

I prefer Les Grandes Tetons.

Free Willies would be more my style.

If the touching of the two big loops on the G and the P is intended to suggest a bra, then moving the "des" slightly over to the right might be something to try.

I'm not sure I'd like the result, (or if it could be done since the "d" uses the "g's" tail), but right now my mind's eye is thinking the bra could use a little more breathing room on the right.

It's a cool name, befitting the Valise.

I took 3 years of French in HS and 12 credits in college. I can only kiss French.

The problem is with the first L. The font makes it look like a T and we want it to be in balance.

The problem is the 2nd L looks like a lower case F.

Ah, the problems of a shop keeper.

I would lop the whole upper arm off the majuscule "L." It looks like a "Z" anyways. That's what I did for the TY logo: lop and fill. Have Lisa hire someone to do it if it's a pain.

I'm going with #2. Lopping off the arm doesn't solve the problem of the floating "e" that follows the placement and use of the majuscule "L".

After lopping the arm, the whole "Le" portion could be lowered in the first design, bringing the "e' back to the line.

The benefits of the second design are minuscule.

With the problem of too many loops hooking up with each other if it's lowered.

By the way, when it comes to boobies in a trap, the down and up strokes matter little. They mostly want OUT.

The capitol L appears to be a signature feature on the Lee Lee's Valise Logo. I'd not seen the L in the hair prior to this. Does she want to carry that theme through to her new store and logo? If so, majuscule is the way to go.

Otherwise, using the "smalls" for the lingerie store seems intimate.
