We are extremely busy at the accessories show. A lot of the vendors appear to be very worried about the business climate. A lot of stores that we usually see are not there. One guy told me how he gauged the business climate. He said that after they set up their booth, the go to get the free donuts and coffee. If it is busy there is nothing left by the time they get to it. This time there was all you can eat.
We are basically cutting our orders down 50%. We just want to get the sure things and not to go too far out on a limb. But we found some great stuff so you dolls check the website.
In particular we found a really cool beach bag that would also serve as a great "mommie" bag to but all of you baby gear in when you are traveling.
The show will last two more days so blogging will be a little lite.

Good luck at the show, Trooper!
We sure do miss you when you're not around.
I will check out your store website and order something purple!
Darcy I have a purple bag from Chaos that is all leather that is beautiful.
Also one of the beach bag totes is purple and is a one and one. That's where we get one for the store and one for my wife. Women come in and ask for them.
I just looked, and the only thing I saw is the purple Madden tote, which is sold out (but beautiful!). I'm interested in the beach bag, Trooper. That would be great for my tennis trip to CA in March.
...my tennis trip to CA in March.
Blake?
Can't be me.
I don't play tennis.
Unless she means "tennis".
Ha ha, you guys!
Indian Wells. Can't wait!!
Out in the desert. (The really desert-y desert, not just the regular SoCal desert.)
If you're planning to do any cooking yourself, as opposed to just eating out, you should look up Jensen's (in Palm Desert and also Palm Springs).
In fact, even if you aren't, I recommend the bakery.
Thanks, blake. I know where Palm Desert is, and my friends will probably love the bakery idea.
We won't be cooking...there's too much going on at the tournament, but any other tips you can think of, let me know!
Oh! Oh! Oh!
The tram. If there's a hint of outdoorsy-ness to you, you've got to take the tram.
It goes from the desert into the mountains--and did you say March?--In March, there'll still probably be some snow.
It's got trails, mule rides, boring documentaries about how the tram was built, etc.
A unique experience, really.
In the summer, there's the Palm Springs street fair, which is cool, and at Christmas they do the main drag up beautifully. There are also a lot of shows, if you have you a taste for the old folks' stuff.
If you've got the kids with you, there's a children's museum, the Living Desert (if you're into animals)...
Geez, I know a lot about that place. Heh.
Oh! Thanks for the ideas, blake. I would love the tram, and so would my best tennis buddy, too! I'm going to look that up and plan it.
No kids on this trip. As a matter of fact, it is strictly a girls' weekend with 7 of my friends who are as crazy about tennis as I am.
Well, sounds like a blast!
