The Legend of Custer TV series played during the sixties when I was a kid. It starred Wayne Maunder and Slim Pickens and continued the tradition of having an Italian guy play Crazy Horse. I guess they just couldn't get Sal Mineo so they settled for Mchael Dante.
Ths was another Hollywood white wash of Custer and it only lasted seventeen episodes. But it was fun for a kid who imagined himself in the old west.
