Sleepy Hollow seems like a pretty cool show
I caught the pilot of the new Fox show "Sleepy Hollow" and it seemed pretty cool. Good set up and the visuals are stunning. A very decent start. I want to give it a chance to see how it develops.
I like Tarrytown and Washington Irving, so I liked the show too. Sort of dumb premise (they did not burn witches in the late 1700s) but I liked tying in the old Ichabod Crane stories to 21st century Westchester.
I tend to watch stuff I know I like over and over while doing other things. I watch very little new or first run stuff. I spend so much time multi-tasking that I can't concentrate on new stuff.
Is Ichabod Crane's adam's apple prominent enough? Nerdy doesn't cut it. He's got to be skin and bones nerdy. Which modern casting directors don't wanna do because an authentic Ichabod is so consumerist unfriendly donchyaknow.
I hate Sarah Jessica Parker, Robin Williams, Tim Robbins, Susan Saradon, the BJ Hunnicut guy, brussel sprouts, the Boston Red Sox, commies and well, lawyers.

I think I might wait until the whole first season is running on Amazon or Netflix.
I've lost my taste for the weekly "omigodwhatsgonnahappennext" thing.
But the previews look interesting. Then again, they always do.
Cody, Netflix has revolutionized how we watch television. We have the control now.
We just need to be patient.

Not sure if I can get around the ad campaign "From the people who brought you 'Star Trek' and 'Transformers'..."
The important question is the show's arboreality factor. For this, we need Sixty Grit's opinion.
The trees are perfect for where the series is filmed - the south eastern corner of North Carolina.
Not so much for the Hudson River Valley.
