Thanks to everyone for their concern

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and concern. It is really touching that some many of you knuckleheads would say and do such nice things.

Lisa and I loved the edible arrangement. Special thanks to the great Nick Spinelli for thinking of it and handlliing the details and all of you who chipped in. It was beautiful.

I am still tacky and am waiting for my heart to turn over. Of course my cardio guy is away and won't be back till Monday. They are stabilizing me with medicine and I have to wait it out over the weekend.

The fucking Giantss better win this Sunday. I don't think my ticket can take it. The bastards,,

You look like Ernest Borgnine in that photo. Not in person, but in the photo. You have seen how much folks like and care about you. I'm sure, on some level you knew that. But, to experience it is something else.

Such a nice gown, Troop. Get well.

My Grandma had the same one. She called it a housecoat.

You should design a Hawaiian line of hospital gowns. Stir things up.

Is that a backless gown?

Sort of like ass-less chaps?

You look like Ernest Borgnine in that photo.

He does. Especially when he played Lombardi in "Legend In Granite."

Don't get Troop started again on Borgnine's secret to longevity.

I wouldn't know about that sort of thing, Pollo. It must be a California thing.

How long are they going to keep you there?

Troop in a dirndl!

You really do not want to pin your hopes on the Giants. If they win, great, you can be pleasantly surprised.

But they seem to be dysfunctional right now and Eli sure as hell has not been pulling them out of it.

And Coughlin had this to deal with too.

chick, I literally bumped into Ernest Borgnine coming out of a Brewer's game. He was in town to be grand marshal @ the annual Circus Parade. Just as gregarious and gracious as you imagine.

Could be a still from Hangover 4: Oktoberfest.

Hey, you look pretty good, except for the granny glasses.

"Whose doing the posting"?

A variation on "whose that girl" with a real question.

Who is doing the posting? Is Lisa helping you, or are you this close to a return to Minimal Daily Function?

Speaking of the Jints--if they couldn't get it together to win one (or at least be close) as a gesture to their coach in his rough week, they're not going to amount to jack shit.

I'm really disappointed in that from them. Makes me wonder if the players are tired of Coughlin?

Cardiologist are great. After open heart, I did EXACTLY what the cardiologist said I should do for rehab. Never missed one class, continued the program informally after the structured part had been completed. It made a huge difference in how good I felt.

The candles....always a nice touch when someone is on oxygen.

Haz, Great eye and analysis. It's Brooklyn, they don't know shit.
