I want to incorporate the spirit of their old avatar while putting a new twist on it as it were.

Congratulatitons to Montana Urban Legend who decided to update his avatar. He went with a close up of the eye of the green space whore that Capt Kirk was banging on Uranus4 in the original series.

Of course Capt Kirk was more interested in her brown eye. He was funny that way.
