It's important to keep up your families traditions every year.

Everyone has their Holiday traditions. Caroling. Decorating the tree. Going to Costco.

Every year we go to Florida to visit the family during the Holidays. We hit all of the stores to get supplies because Grandpa is there and he is cooking up a storm. So we go to Penn Dutch to get meat and veggies. Now Whole Foods to get condiments and gluten free supplies. And of course Costco to pick up stuff in bulk.

Now of course there is a Costco in Brooklyn but I never go there. It is too far and you need a car. But in Florida we rolled right up. Any you know what the best part of shopping in Costco is. Of course.

The Hot Dogs.

I begged and I pleaded and I got permission to have a hot dog. Man was I happy. I got on line and was able to score a nice dirty greasy hot dog. It was just like Nathans.

I ran right over to the condiment section and loaded up. I had to take my chance to have all the bad stuff in one shot because they watch me like a hawk. Relish. Onions. Deli Mustard. The works!

I managed to gobble it down from the door of Costco to the car. I was one happy dude. A greasy Hot Dog and a Mountain Dew. I felt like a native Floridian.

Merry Christmas to me!

If it is Holiday Time you know what that means.....It's Florida time!

If it is Holiday Time you know it is Vacation Time and we head down to Florida. Now we didn't have a Muslim drive us because Trump told us it was illegal and he was not going to let any Muslims into Florida so Omar had to stay home. We flew down on Christmas Day and boy are our arms tired.

We had some fun at family gatherings and parties the last couple of days. Today was the first day we had a real break. So what did we do? We went food shopping.

Of course this is a little different than what we used to do. We had to shop gluten and diary free and had to be careful to not load up on Junk food the way we used to do on other trips. There was a Whole Foods type place called Fresh Market and it had some of the stuff  we buy up in New York. I loaded up on chicken cutlets from the butcher and made a load of gluten free breaded cutlets.

I was lucky 13 and my number was called so I could put in my order. We loaded up on organic meats and vegetables. Some tasty gluten free pasta. Spices and condiments to tart up what we are eating. But when it was all said and done I had to do some begging. I pleaded and I begged and I finally was allowed to get one thing I wanted.

An Apple Pie. Because I am a freaking American!!!!!!

You know you have enough of a site.....

When you end up dealing with vile anti-semites and vile cunts like Inga at a place like Turleys. The difference between people like me and Airdog is we walk the walk. We have friends that are Muslims. We interact with Muslims everyday. Fuck. We go on vacation with them.

So you don't want hear nonsense from people that want to lecture you about dealing with Muslims. Or crime. Or living in the city when you fucking live there and not in fucking Wisconsin. It is just not worth it to engage these cocksuckers. They will never learn. Plus I don't want to open a can of whoop ass since Turley will never let it stand because of his civility rule. But shit like what that worthless cunt pulled on Aridog yesterday is in the best tradition of Lawnboy and his Campus Cunt. So why go backward. We left all that behind.

Life is good. While the wife was off get a Juan Carlos haircut from our favorite Columbian hairdresser...Omar and I went off to relax. We had hot dogs and birch beers at a sidewalk cafe and listened to every fat white guy passing by ask me where I got the Hawaiian shirt with the Santa Clauses on it.

Life is good.

And the haircut turned out great!

The best thing to do when you are driving back from Walmart

is take selfies as you are not looking at the road.

Hey we are on vacation.

Teach a man to fish......

He might not want to be a cab driver anymore.

Omar got a huge bass and had a great time.

On the road again.............

The drive down was a little tough. It was twenty hours straight in the car. We stopped first in a Denny's in Virgina for dinner at about 8pm on Christmas Day. It is quite an experience to be in a diner on Christmas Day.

It took longer to get our meal than to drive from New York to Virgina. The great thing about driving on Christmas Day is that there is no traffic. At all.

But there seemed to be bit tie up in the kitchen in Dennys.

You know you're a Brown Neck.......

Omar on the water Kayaking in the lake in front of the kids house.

Hawaii Five Nooooooooo

I have a longer video which I have to figure out how to download.

Here Lee Lee is getting her Hawaii Five O on!

With bonus Omar Bass Fishing footage!

No worries. He just emailed me.

He is at a party with the locals. At the Spa in Puerto Vallarta!

Nick is next on line for the pedicure.

I am worried about Nick...he hasn't posted at Turley's in quite a while!

I mean I know he is on vacation but how could he kick the habit cold turkey?

Inga doesn't know to do with herself.

I wonder if he got abducted by Aliens? Ya never know. Ya know?

I'm not bringing my computer so only be commenting from the biz center. Been to Mexico many times, but never Puerto Vallarta. Any suggestions are welcomed. I know there's a gay beach. NTTAWWT.

Hey it is the end of the summer so it is time to grin and bare it!

Labor Day weekend is the time for last licks. So to speak. Time to bare all and let it all  hang out. Even your fish belly white gut and your unsightly moobs.

Hey it is a hell of a lot more fun than crossposting with the She Wolf of the SS and Lawnboy.

More details soon along with a bunch of sexy beach pics!

Ah...to relax and not have to worry

We are leaving for the Hamptons this afternoon. Our production head and pattern maker is heading back to California and we are dropping her off at JFK. Then three hours in the cars until we reach Westhampton.

We deciided against bringing the pillow top and the pillows to the house since we couldn't sneak them in our suitcase. So we will have to rough it. I plan to spend more time laying out on the lounge chairs on the deck. Which has the added benefit of giving me some privacy because who wants to look at that?

I hope everyone has a wonderful and healthy and Happy Labor Day Weekend.

I plan to spend the weekend by the pool

Although the bed is not the best the pool is fantastic. So I will be spending as much time as I can on the deck and in the pool.

What sucks is that I can't enjoy a cold beer anymore. Or a hot dog. Nothing is better than a cold beer and a hot dog while listening to the game on the deck before you jump in the pool.

Still it should be very relaxing.

I want to sleep in my own bed

Even though it is covered in pillows.

We bought this really great mattress to which we added a pillow top and some very high count sheets. Plus a bunch of very comfortable pillows. So we are going to a friends house this weekend and the bed is not anywhere near as good. Do you think it would be low rent to bring my own pillow top, sheets and pillows? Yeah I know. Can't do. It's insulting. Wouldn't be prudent.

I mean it is great that my friends are inviting us out to their mansion in the Hamptons for the weekend. But I am very, very tired and I want to sleep in and be super comfortable. He doesn't have wifi so I will be off the grid more or less except for the Ipad 3g.

Oh well. I can't complain. I mean look at what I am actually bringing to his house.

Who would want to find that floating in his pool?

I have to change my priorities.

I have been so busy at the store and at home that I haven't had time to do much creative stuff here at the blog. I enjoy writing. That is fun for me. I want to continue working on my little stories that I hope to make into a book. But I just haven't had the time to post much. I have only had time to do some quick hits by commenting.

I like commenting at Lem's place because those guys put up some interesting posts. But the recent influx of Leisure Suit Larry has made it a lot less fun. It is back to the same drivel that we had almost a year ago. You would think that when people left and stayed away from their site they would get the message and leave them alone. It is obvious that both of them post under the same handle at different times. The tone and the level of discourse is definitely very different. Why can't they stay in their own sandbox and ruin those peoples fun?

For a couple of weeks I have been enjoying posting at PreviouslyTV which is a site devoted to TV shows. They seemed to have a free and easy way about them unlike Television Without Pity which had draconian rules and where I got banned four different times. But it seems like they have tightened up now that they got popular and I am getting warnings and cautions about stupid jokes because they are politically correct tight asses like just about everyone these days. So I am dropping them as well.

It is time to hunker down and just post more stuff here. Concentrate on this and leave the rest behind. It might mean that I would post less. Or post a little and then go back and add to it later. I might start a chapter of "Joey Gallo" or "Doc Holliday" and come back to it to edit or enhance it. I have done that before but I need to concentrate on it more.

I should just go on vacation and say "Fuck it."

I want to go on vacation

I really want to go on vacation this summer. That little getaway this past Memorial Day was really great for us. We really need it. We have been going on all cylinders ever since my operation in January with trying to get the new store going and starting to sell wholesale.

It looks like I might have finally found a good employee to handle the store. It will take at least a month or two to get her up to speed but we might be able to get away at the end of August.

I sure hope so. It has been tough. We get pretty tired.

Memorial Day is my Favorite Holiday

Hey we had to get out of town. My friends invited us to stay at their house in Easthampton. It was my favorite type of vacation. It didn't cost me anything.

Well except carfare to and fro.

They have a great pool in their backyard. It was just opened and ready for business. It was a little too cold for Sunday but Monday and Tuesday it was warm enough to go in for a little while.

He had just had his deck redone. In fact they were working on it. You see they rent it out for the summer. That is the only way you can pay the real estate taxes which are about $30,000 a year. He uses it in the off season. Which is before June and after September. So we were able to enjoy the weekend. The best part of it was that he didn't fix up his wifi and the service sucked so Lisa couldn't text or email or instagram or tweet or face book. Or blogging. It was heaven.

We always take off on Mondays and Tuesdays so we closed the store on Sunday and left Saturday morning and came back Tuesday night.

It was a great mini-vacation.

Getting ready to have some fun in the sun!

The only problem is that Gregory Peck is following me around the beach wearing a top hat and carrying a harpoon. Do you think that is weird?

Scarlett, Tomorrow is going to be a busy day!

Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day. You see we are going on the cruise on Saturday. So I have to finish everything on Friday.

First I have to go to the fabric store and get all the fabric in Manhattan. Then I have to take it to the factory in Brooklyn and argue with Suzy Wong about production. Then I have to pick up the production and bring it back to the store.

Then home to finish packing. (We are packing right now at three in the morning)

It is going to be a lot of fun.
