Hey we are in LA and went to a fabric warehouse. It was about 90 degrees in the shade and there were 4 floors of fabric. You have to look at the fabric, take a sample and then figure out if you should make it into a dress or a top or a skirt or whatever.Now I don't know enough other than to say what should be what. You can tell what feels good and what is a distinctive print. But I let the wife and our friend the manufacturer make the call. I am just the native bearer who carries the bags and staples the swatches to paper and make notes. You know like the natives in the Jungle Jim movies. Luckily I don't have to carry one of those giant baskets on my head.
The smog and dust was giving me enough of a headache.
