Penny is a new character brought in to implement the phase-out of the Titus character.
The phase-out of the Titus character was crafted to make it appear that dislike of Titus by some commenters is driving him away. He will be replaced by another sexually-themed character, in this instance Penny.

I just voted for poor old Ina Garten. Barefoot Contessa is my favorite Food Network show. Side note: my husband works for the company who owns Food Network, and the only swag I have ever gotten from it is a Tyler Florence cookbook he won at a company Christmas Party. I'm like, hello, I could use a KitchenAid Mixer over here!

Lawgiver, besides liking the show, I find Ina very endearing. She is just normal, not a ***personality*** like so many of the hosts they have now.
