Coach Lombardi was insistent that we pay attention to every detail. He worried about the lights in the film room and the food at the training table. The paper used to print up the play books. The size and type of towels in the locker room.

But most of all he was concerned about the balls.

Not his balls of course. The balls we used to play the game with on the field. You see depending on how the ball was inflated it could do different things. If it was inflated to the max when you kicked it would go really far. If it was deflated then it was easier for Bart Starr to grip and for the receivers to catch in the freezing cold tundra of Lambeau field. Of course you couldn't deflate them too much because of Hornung. You see he like to put them in his mouth. He was funny that way.

Coach Lombardi was super strict about all of the equipment. The tackling sleds. The whirlpool. And of course the tackling dummies. He always tested them every training camp. He wanted to make sure they were big enough and hard enough. That is why he would sit on them and feel them between his cheeks.

According to vicious tweets by former Oklahoma running back Brennan Clay, DeMarco Murray slept with his college teammate’s wife.

In the tweets, Clay identified Gina D’Agostini as his cheating wife. She soon deleted her Twitter account.

Clay was a Sooner for four years beginning in 2010 — Murray’s last season in Norman. He had a training-camp stint with the Broncos before being waived in August.

It’s been a sordid season off the field for Dallas running backs, as Joseph Randle was arrested on a misdemeanor shoplifting charge earlier this season for allegedly swiping a pack of underwear and a bottle of cologne at a Dillard’s in Frisco, Texas.

SAYREVILLE, N.J. (AP) — Officials at a central New Jersey high school that has won three sectional titles over the past four years canceled the football season amid allegations of harassment, intimidation and bullying among players.

Sayreville school officials made the announcement Monday night during a meeting with the players’ parents. The district already had canceled and forfeited a game that was scheduled last Thursday between Sayreville War Memorial and South Brunswick, and announced that the Middlesex County prosecutor’s office was investigating the allegations.

“There was enough evidence that there were incidents of harassment, of intimidation and bullying that took place on a pervasive level, on a wide-scale level and at a level at which the players knew, tolerated and generally accepted,” Superintendent Richard Labbe told reporters Monday night. “Based upon what has been substantiated to have occurred, we have canceled the remainder of the football season. Bullying or even the threat of bulling in a football environment is cause enough to end the sport of football.” Weeping softly at the press conference Labbe demanded "Have we learned nothing from Richie Incognito and all the rest of the mean nasty people who play football."

Labbe said he could not discuss the investigation, and the prosecutor’s office has declined to release any details. No charges have been filed. Labbe said Prosecutor Andrew Carey told him there is credible evidence to back up the allegations of bullying and harassment within the program. But they will not tell anyone anything or prove anything because the fact that they play a heteronormative brand of football is reason enough to ban it.

Also last week, an assistant football coach at the high school resigned amid allegations that he possessed steroids. Labbe said at the time that the allegations against the former defensive coordinator were the focus of a separate investigation and were not related to the cancellation of last week’s game.

In light of the recent Ray Rice scandal, Phil Reese wrote an opinion piece on the 2010 Favre allegations and the NFL’s investigation, saying, “Just like Brett Favre’s penis (allegedly), it wasn’t pretty. But unlike Brett Favre’s penis (allegedly), it was extremely long. It also did not have Aaron Rodgers teeth marks on it as has been alleged.” The married Favre admitted leaving voice mails, but denied sending naked pictures.

Reese said he was hounded by NFL investigators who wanted to speak to Sterger. "The NFL representatives were determined to root out heterosexuality and rebuild the league under feminist politically correct principals. Having a penis and being interested in girls had fallen out of favor with the league."

They met at his apartment, where “grown men in suits sat around my kitchen table and stared at pictures of Brett Favre’s penis (allegedly). Take the case of Philly receiver DeSean Jackson. The Eagles cut him and nobody has picked him up yet. Which is very strange because he is one of the best receivers in the league. Now the Eagles have let it be known it was because of his "friends and associates" who are bangers. They didn't like the people he knew or grew up with. He has never been convicted of a crime. Unlike Michael Vick. He has never served time. Unlike Michael Vick. So what's the problem? Why don't the Jets run to sign this guy. I mean they are dying for receivers. If Michael Vick can sign with no problem why not a guy who was never even arrested let alone going to jail?

I would have no problem if the Giants signed him.

This just goes to show you one thing. The Jets are fucked up.

I need to be happy for people when good things happen to them. Jealousy is bad for your health. I mean not everything about my "team" is always the best.

So there is an article on MSN today where they say that Tim Tebow feels that he will not be in the league this year. Which is pretty stupid because the kid is a winner. He won in college and when he got a chance he took Denver to the playoffs. He never got a shot with the dog ass Jets and was released and now he is being blackballed.

I think it is because he is a vocal and commited Christian. There are plenty of shitheads in the league who have ten babies with ten different woman or kill dogs or get stabbed in strip clubs. They have no problems getting a gig. But a kid who has a following and is a proven winner can't get a shot when there are tons of shitty QB's in the league.

It just sucks.

Or at least that's the rumor. Now Michael Vick got picked up right away and got a great contract. Ray Lewis shot a man in Reno just to see him die. LT smoked more crack than Bobbie Brown and Whitney combined. And they got right back in the game or never got cut by their team.

You can say a lot of things about Tebow. He doesn't have the best arm. He might not call the best game. But the guy is a winner. He won in college and took a crap Denver team to the playoffs. Denver just wanted to dump him and the Jets as usual were happy to do something stupid. if they didn't want him they should never have traded for him. Now the Jets have a boa-fied loser in Dirty Sanchez and a college rookie draft pick as their quarterbacks.

I think the reason why Tebow is not getting a job is because he is a committed Christian. You are better off being a Muslim terrorist. Then you have a bigger fan club of little girls and guys like Titus.

I really hope someone just gives him a chance and he takes an unlikely team to the playoffs. That would be great.
