A-Rod must go

So A-Rod lost his appeal and is sentenced to losing a season and $25 million dollars for doping. Now he claims he is going to federal court to be reinstated but the game is up for him.

He gave some thought to his legacy before the recent Hall of Fame votes. But now that Clemens and Bonds did not get voted into the Hall he has to know that he will not get in either. So he has nothing to lose if he fights on until the last dog dies.

He might get a short stay of execution and start the season while it is working it's way through the legal system. Who knows? The way the law works he might play the whole season. That's not what the Yankees want. They would be happy saving the money and making other plans. In fact they might pay off the last three years of his contract and tell him to take a walk.

The way I see it is that he will appeal and play most if not all of the season. Then lose and be suspended for next season. If as expected Jeter retires then the Yankees need to go back to the drawing board. They really only wanted to keep A-Rod around to go after the all time home run record which I don't think he will get now. So they might as well pay him off and totally retool.

So the Hall of Fame voting is over and Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds did not get in. Because of steroids.

Now that is some bullshit right there. Ok so they juiced. Big deal. What do you care? So they shrunk their testicles in order to make a living. Lots of people do that. I know I guy who did that by marrying a crazy spinster law professor. And he got into the Douchebag Hall of Fame. So why not Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds.

I have to confess something. I only want Clemens to go in to see what hat he wants to wear. If he picks the Yankees that would be a major dis to the Red Sox. If as you would expect he picks the Red Sox then all Yankee fans can go back to legitimately despising him to the max. So it is a win/win for Yankee fans.

Even major league Homo Mike Piazza was denied because of the rumor that he put strange substance in his body so to speak. Just the hint seems to stop your chances.

A-Rod is on my last nerve

So A-Rod stormed out of the hearing because Selig would not be called to testify. What a bunch of shit. This moron has been nothing but trouble since the day we signed him. Now he is holding us up because the Yankees can not make any moves until we learn what is going to happen to him. Do we get a third baseman? Are we on the hook for his salary or is he suspended without pay? What the fuck?

This is where Yankee fans really miss George. George would have done one of two things. Either he would have gone all out for A-Rod and helped him fight the case until the last dog died. Or he would have traded or cut him and just paid out the money to get rid of him. But in either case we would have know where we stand.

A-Roid and his scumbag lawyers are now saying that the Yankees withheld information from him about his injury and they were willing to lose the World Series just so they could find a way to get out of his contract. What a crock of bullshit. The Yankees will do whatever it takes to win and that includes lying about an injury. But they would only do that so the lazy cocksucker would play. Jeter would play if a bone was sticking our of his skin. Not A-Roid.

I am glad he got hit. Of course the Red Sox guys are punks. They always are. But maybe somebody can do a Ray Chapman and we can get out of this.

"I will say this: there is more than one party that benefits from me not ever stepping back on the field. That's not my teammates and that's not the Yankee fans."

What he is implying is that the Yankees do not want to pay off the $100 million left on his contract. Well of course you dummy. You are not going to break the all time record for home runs which is the only reason why the Yankees would want you on the team. You were never a good teammate. You are no longer a good player. You broke the rules about steroids and got caught.

Real Yankee fans hate A-Roid. They always have ever since that article in Sports Illustrated about Jeter. A-Roid could never measure up to Jeter. He never will. He has a lot of empty stats. He was not leader. Not a good teammate.

Thank the Sweet Baby Jebus that Rodger Clemens and Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa didn't make it into the Hall of Fame today.

The only thing worse then Rodger Clemens making the Hall is if he wanted to wear a Yankee hat on his monument.

Other Steroid freaks Bonds and Sosa missed out as did mediocre pitcher Jack Morris and noted homosexual Mike Piazza. It seems nobody is going in this year except old-timers from the veterans committee.

Strangely enough they elected Colonel Jake Ruppert who was the great owner of the Yankees when they got Babe Ruth. Look how long they took to put him in the Hall. At this rate it will take another 100 years before George Steinbrenner gets his rightful place in the Hall.

His old cum bucket Kate Hudson has a new gig on Glee. It is now a tradition that "used up" "movie stars" will take a guest slot on Glee. Last year it was Gynnie Paltrow. This year it is Goldie's demon spawn.

The really funny part is that she can't sing or dance for shit. I mean when they have real Broadway talents like Idina Menzel or that little twat Kristin Chenoweth but to put a no-talent whore like this twat is taking it too far.

Her whole dance segment was just a joke. She was twirling her hair so you couldn't see her face or had her back to the camera the whole freaking time. I told the wife "You know who that is?" "No who is that?" "That's James Arness in the last couple of seasons of Gunsmoke. He couldn't do any of his fucking stunts either so they had to have a stand in do all the work. At least he had the excuse of a shattered knee from Anzio what's this bitch's excuse.

Joe Girardi has big ones!

Everyone knows that A-Rod has sucked dead dogs in the post season. He does have Hall of Fame stats and might end up with the All-time home run record but he still sucks in the clutch and has really never produced when we needed it. He was one of the main reasons that the Yankees have not won more World Series. He reminds me of Dave Winfield. Lots of natural talent. Great stats. Personable with a great line of bullshit. But when the game is on the line you are better off with a scrub. Because that guy at least have a chance to come through for you. A-Rod will never do it.

I remember one year when we were playing the Mariners when A-Rod was on the that team and they won 116 games. He hit a couple of home runs in the first couple of games and then Clemens buzzed him at one at bat and that was that. He never recovered. Not just in that series. But in the rest of his career.

Girardi did what he had to do to keep his job. We needed this win badly. We couldn't go down 2-1 in our own house. He made one of the gutsiest moves I have ever seen a manager make in the play-offs. He has big balls.

Oh and one more thing.

Most teams have a tough time when the fans have to pick their all-time teams. Not because there are a lot of great players competing for a spot. More that there are not enough a good players to field an All Star team let alone an All-Time Team. I mean the Mets fans are arguing about the relative merits of Eddie Kranepool and John Olerud. Or the Brewers fans deciding whether to vote for Sixto or Sevento Lezcano. Or ask nd whose the bomb......John Mayberry or Steve Balboni. The only team that will have a bona fide Hall of Famer at every position is the New York Yankees. And what is remarkable is that it is quite possible that three of the All-Time Yankees are on the team right now.

Now it is obvious that Derek Jeter will go down as the greatest Yankee shortstop of all time. Five rings. Maybe four thousand hits. More pussy than the port-a-potty at the Lillith faire. The popular choice before was the Scooter Phil Rizzuto but even he acknowledge that Jetes was the man and would take his place with Ruth and Gehrig and DiMaggio and Mantle and Berra. You are witnessing the career of the greatest shortstop on the greatest franchise in all of professional sports history.

The toughest thing for me to admit is that A-Rod might end up being the greatest Third Baseman in Yankees history. By the time his career is over he will have played the majority of his career as a Yankee. He might hold the all time home run record. I wish I could vote for Jumping Joe Dugan or Craig Nettles or Clete Boyer or Jerry Kenny or Celerino Sanchez or fucking anybody other than this annoying prick but waddayagonnado? He will have the stats and most likely two or three rings by the time his career as a Yankee is over. I am stuck with him and I think he will have the third base spot on the All Time Yankee team. That sucks.

 But the guy that is really surprising me is Robinson Cano. He has a good shot to be the All Time Yankee second baseman. I mean I guess most people would pick from a hodgepodge of Bobby Richardson or Willie Randolph or Tony Lazzari but I don't think any of them will measure up to what Robinson Cano is going to do if he doesn't get hurt or start hanging out in the Hamptons with Jason Kidd. Robinson Cano is on a tear lately and the last few years he might actually be the best player on the team. Which is saying a lot when you play for the Yankees. I actually plan my bathroom breaks around when he is coming up when I watching the game. If he continues on this pace he will have a sport with the immortals.

I feel honored to watch them play.

Aaron Rodgers is the A-Rod of the NFL. After blowing the big game that could take his team to the Super Bowl he is named the MVP of the NFL.

Some players pile up big stats. They might even win one championship here or there. But they are really not anything. Dan Fouts. Ted Williams. Dan Marino. A Rod. They got the stats. But in the big game their throats get tight. They are praised to the sky. But in the end they don't have the pelts on the pony.

To be a fan is to be disappointed most of the time. Your team can't win every year. In fact when they make that magical run to a World Championship it is like a magic carpet ride. Everything has to break your way. Injuries can not devastate your players. You have to get the breaks. You have to get most of the calls. Things have to break your way. It doesn't happen every year.

Yankee fans have it much better than most. We win more often then most everyone else. We spend the money to get the best players and we want them to produce. And true Yankees do produce. They do the things that make us win. Babe Ruth. Joe D. Mikey and Whitey and Yogi. Thurman. Reggie. Jeter, Posada, O'Niel, Posada and Mariano. Robbie Cano. They did what they needed to do to win.

You saw it tonight. Jorge is finished as a Yankee but he had three hits. Jeter had an infield hit that he beat out and sent a long drive that almost tied it up. Mariano pitched a one-two-three ninth. They are true Yankees. Winners. They fought to the last.

A-Rod struck out with the bases loaded. He struck out to end the game. He failed miserably as he has done for most of his career. Did you see his face when he struck out with the bases loaded? He was a tight lipped tight assed mess. He froze. He choked. His disgraced the uniform. He might have Hall of Fame numbers but he is a drag on the team. As he has been since the day he got here. We would have been a lot better off without him. His bloated salary and his off the field antics have only brought trouble to the Yankees. He is a disgrace to the uniform.

I am only glad that George didn't live to see this. He would have personally gone into the locker room and told A-Rod what every Yankee fan is thinking tonight. Alex you are a loser. We don't want you on our team. You need to go. Now. Waive your no trade. Find another home.
