The best thing to do when you are driving back from Walmart

is take selfies as you are not looking at the road.

Hey we are on vacation.

Wait a minute here...who is driving that vehicle...or are are the steering wheel and other controls on the "right hand" side of your car...as in the UK and other uncivilized places?

Troop looks like a backseat driver!

OT: Damn it...I just can't seem to resist teasing Inga, Allie Oop, Annie, Ingemouse, etc. on Turley's blog. The lady just insists that all threads be about her...and that is nearly irresistible. I knew full well that she could not resist jumping in to a subject not about her per se when I mentioned "medics and corpsmen" .... somehow she uses her daughter as a foil, to start new arguments.

I promise to do better in the new year.

Maybe.

Is there a 12 step program for this? :-))

I am relatively certain Trooper is the ultimate back seat driver....just as I am when driven anywhere. It's embarrassing, but I do it anyway. Judi particularly appreciates it when I tell that light was "very pink" that you just blew through, etc.... :-))

Back to Inga et al...I know it just kills her that she knows full well who proved her daughter, as a Corpsman, was the real deal....when she was challenged to back it up herself (elsewhere, on TOP I think)...e.g., that her kids were fictional. She's thanked me for it, but really I suspect she resents it none-the-less. Sick chick, as some friends of hers have advised me, by email, and asked me to back off (hey, I try!) that one.

I apologize not one whit for respecting all Medics and Corpsmen, no matter what (even if they seduced your sister in a former life)...if you find yourself lying, shot up or whatever, in the mud and a Medic or Corpsman comes along, you know you have some likelihood of survival. They're not G-d, but are the next best thing to it. I doubt she even knows what her own daughter experienced at Camp Leatherneck, inside Camp Bastion, when it was nearly overrun. I doubt her daughter even talks about it, in fact.

Ari I thought Inga gave you a really cheap shot at Turley's today. I thought about emailing him but that is not my style.

However you are justified in pointing it out and demanding a deletion.

I am enjoying my vacation and just want to have fun. I am only sporadically paying attention.

Happy New Year to you and don't let the bastards get you down!

Trooper...I would demand no deletion. I want the remark to stand on its own. That lady screwed up and I don't care. I've conquered my demons, she hasn't hers. She just can't resist a cheap shot, it is in her nature, (and why she can't see the good in people because she has little herself perhaps?) and I love it that it is on record for all to see.

Pay attention to none of the rest of us for any of this crap and enjoy your trip in the southland. Beaches are for fun in the sun...enjoy!

Tell Omar that "brown neck" is cool, in my opinion especially. Where do these regular ethnic hustlers get off anyway? Those smiles on Omar's face say it all. Only a fool could miss that. You are "da man" for this topic...and I bet Omar knows it. No, I know he knows it.

Absolutely. She has used her family as a support to her assertions and then if anyone says anything about her family, wah. We are invading her privacy. The woman is deranged.

.when she was challenged to back it up herself (elsewhere, on TOP I think)...e.g., that her kids were fictional

What happened there was that people got sick of her claiming some sort of moral authority on anything military or political in the Iraq situation by waving her military daughter around. Sort of like Cindy Sheehan who used her dead son to march her way into political status.

I accused Mito Ally. Alley Oop, Applechuchen or whatever her name at that time was (she changes it so frequently) of literally Waving the Bloody Shirt and included the historical reference.

Yes...yes....her daughter is a corpsman and that is commendable. HOWEVER, it doesn't give this mentally ill woman Inga or Annie or whatever.....the moral high ground. I also suggested that if her DAUGHTER were to weigh in on some of these issues it would be a thing of substance. Her mother trying to vicariously live through her daughter and using someone else's courage (her daughter) to win internet arguments was less than unseemly.

Naturally. That didn't play well with applecheeks. That and my accusing her of getting her Granny Panties in a wad over various arguments. LOL. She was going through her imaginary plumber next door as a lover episode at that time and didn't like to be reminded that she is an OLD woman.

I'm very mean :-)

I think it is so neat that you have Omar with you on your trip. For a whole bunch of reasons. But mainly to see how happy you all seem. Omar looks like a kid who just got given a great surprise gift.
