There was supposed to be a rally to support the NYPD today but it doesn't seem like it is going to happen. It was set up with a Facebook page and not really supported by the Police Union. So it doesn't look like there will be much of a turnout.
In the meantime the protestors who have been making a mess the last few weeks have threatened to disrupt this rally. Of course the Police Commissioner has caved and the Mayor met with these idiots. Because he supports the terrorists. Screw that. He is a terrorist. His lame attempts at damage control are not working. The cops are already going on strike, They are working to the limit of the law and not taking one step out of the way.
We are on our way to Dinkins era crime sooner rather than later.

I thought about bringing back some Cubans from Mexico, but didn't. There were many golfers @ the Marriott the first few days we stayed. Many were smoking Cubans @ the pool. I was a bit surprised. Marriott was a smokeless chain way before the no smoking movement. Now, the hotel is very open in such a tropical climate. And, being a former smoker I am not a Carey Nation about smokers. But, any outdoor area was smoking. I love the smell of a good cigar.
I was sitting in the hot tub w/ a golfer from NY. He of course announced his presence loudly and was an expert on all topics. There were also many Texans, who also announce their state frequently. Cheesheads are up on that list as well, but there bumpkins, not a-holes.
2 cops were executed in Brooklyn. it's on di blasio's head. he better hire some private security.
They know they will be targeted if they speak out. The mayor will betray them.
Let the city go to shit. Folks may find the seventies were not all that good in NYC.
I cannot explain how angry this makes me.
The NYPD should all call in sick for one week. See how life in the projects is. See how life on or near campus is. How life in the parks is.
May God hold the souls of the slain officers safe in His laving arms.
