I know I enjoy the humor, camaraderie, ribbing and most of the stories presented in this venue where "things are not as they seem" is the predominate theme. I appreciate the opportunity to laugh, shake my head, consider what's pleasing or bugging me, form my own opinion and choose to encourage or dissent without some nameless "we" to dictate my behavior.

In my reading of this blog I haven't seen much inclination on the part of the Fogblather to "lay off" anyone famous or otherwise who presents themselves as a douche, particularly one who adds duplicity to their roster.

I had a female boss once who was also my best friend. There would be rare moments at work where we were literally screaming at each other, slamming doors and throwing files (not at each other but at the wall). The rest of the office was aghast. Once the fight was over, we would just say..."so....which bar should we continue our stress management meeting after work".... and then get on with the day. It didn't matter who won the argument. What mattered that we could both just let it go. She was my best friend and the best woman at my wedding 18 years ago. She died of cancer shortly afterwards and I miss her every day.

I love a good argument as much as anyone and consider it an art. Busting balls as Spinelli says.

You know what's really good, though? The soda with the real sugar in it. We can buy Coke that is bottled in Mexico - where they use real sugar, and it is just amazing. Icy cold from the bottle.

God grants some of us wisdom Mama, wisdom to be able to read people accurately and not project their own weaknesses and paranoia on to other people who one doesn't even know. You know NOTHING about my life except for what I reveal here to my FRIENDS. Your constant attempts at smearing me makes you look as if you are either, nuts or evil or both. Do you not see what you look like?

Really Mama, I don't know you either, I don't cast aspertions on ANYTHING you may reveal about yourself, I could say about you when you have said you have sons and a husband that I doubted that, as you are too mean spirited to attract any normal person. But that would be mean and evil.

You are very secretive and closed as is your prerogative, but your constant, endless, attempts to make me look as if I am not being honest about anything I say here is just plain crazy. Makes you look very ugly, where it counts, your spirit, your heart. And if you think that you have grace and love, you DO NOT show it, you are a piss poor example of love and grace.

I feel sorry for you, as you appear to be a very unhappy, bitter woman.

AllieOop: Based on the above screed, , it seems your definition and understanding of psychological projection and projection bias is very different from mine, almost opposite in fact. While the general description at the wiki is a close match to the definition I adhere to, the examples you've crafted are truly more bold and dramatic.
