Just finished watching the DVD The Funk Brothers: Standing in the Shadow of Motown.
Superb video. The Funk Brothers played on EVERY Motown record for over thirty years, and rarely were mentioned on the labels. Most of them ere jazzists, some were trained in the classics. They played R&B because that's where the money (pitiful as it was) was paid.
We opened the windows and doors and turned up the speakers like we used to do. Took off our shoes and danced in the living room.
I am glad you are tanned, rested and ready.
BTW, what is happening with BBS?
