On the other hand our accessories are kicking ass. The necklaces, rings, handbags and especially the hoop earrings we got at the recent Accessories show have been selling like hot cakes. And the Spanks which are a body shaping stocking are going as fast as we can put them out there.I am sure you guys are real interested in all this. Or are you saying, hey where's the cake?

The lady was ridiculous in expecting you to take back a garment she stained, by the way. I get very disappointed in people like that, and I usually can't hide it. It is selfish, manipulative behavior. Good thing I wasn't standing in line next to her. Hee. :)

It's the three strands of pearls that gets to me. The diamond clusters hanging down not so much. But as they say, different strokes. Anyway, you probably carry a simple or multi-strand pearl choker as well.

The multiple strands of pearls is really in right now. Especially in a dress with the girls on display. It gives a little coverage and really dresses up the look.
I usually get six pieces in on a Monday and sell out by Sunday. I have one left right now.
I have a question, if it's not too much: What are your big mark-up items? That is, are there items that are disproportionately profitable?
I would expect jewelry because, if nothing else, there'd be fewer wear issues.
Actually some of the dresses are pretty good markups. But we do not over do it. In fact some of our higher end stuff is a lot cheaper that it is in Europe because I don't think people are going to pay that price here in Brooklyn. So I make a good not great markup. Jewerly though is at the standard mark of most of the stuff in the store.

Yes she does. But you have to be a real dummy if you can't pick it up if you really follow it. What the wife does best is adapt the latest styles to our size range 10 to 28.
