Leah Remini is even hotter now that she is not a fruitcake!
This story takes us back to the murky origins of the Trooper York blog where blake and I had many discussion about how hot Leah Remini was and his adventures in meeting her at his favorite coffee shop.
Now Leah has dropped out of Scientology and decided to become normal. Or they pushed her out because she wasn't making the big bucks anymore.
You very seldom see an actress star in more than one successful sitcom. I mean Mary Tyler Moore, Barbara Eden and Elizabeth Montgomery couldn't do it so you don't think Leah could. The Scientologist assholes proably figured the same thing so they are going on to the next big thing. Maybe one of the Two Not So Broke Girls or something.
It's funny how we go back in a circle.
Blake knows that position.
He is also knows that Lea Remini is hot.

I never watched that show due to the cult connection.
I know that fucking UPS is one big cargo cult.
You Haida go there, didn't you.
Leah Remini's father owned an asbestos removal business in Brooklyn. Figures. Cause Heidi she ain't. Haida is another kettle of fish entirely.
She looks weirdly air-brushed. Look at the left side of her body. It's not symmetrical with the right. That is a sure-fire pornified pic if ever I saw one.
RAA - I think the photographer was going for the classical contrapposto pose used by renaissance sculptors. Of course, classical and renaissance like that is not correct, that's all I can come up with right this minute.
Mary Tyler Moore was in more than one successful sitcom: The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Other than MTM, the only other woman I can think of is Patricia Heaton who had many seasons on Everybody Loves Raymond and several now with The Middle.
Does Lucille Ball count? She had "I Love Lucy" as Lucy Ricardo and then "Here's Lucy" as Lucy Carmichael.
Do spin-offs count? Valerie Harper was Rhoda Morgenstern in MTM's show and then as "Rhoda." Same thing with Cloris Leachman in "Phyllis" but her show wasn't as long-running.
C'mon. Who didn't tune in to watch Rhoda and Joe get married?
Kirstie Alley was in "Cheers" and then they gave her "Veronica's Closet" when she got zaftig.
That's true but I was referring to the fact of when they were the headline star of the show and then tried to make a similar success.
The best example is Lucy who of course the original sitcom star of "I Love Lucy" and then had a couple of semi-successful sitcoms but never really hit out of the park.
Courtney Cox is another one who hit it mega big in Friends and then sort of had a half ass hit with Cougartown.
Nobody hits it big twice.
Ruth Anne what I was talking about is having a mega-hit and then developing another mega-hit where you are the principal star. Very few actors have done that.
Bob Newhart was one.
I think Ted Danson was another with Cheers and then Becker and now he is the star of CSI.
That is often the career trajectory.
Big star of mega-hit series. Star of middling successful series. Take over of existing show to eek out a few more years.
Leah was the star of a couple of sitcoms before she hit it big in "King of Queens." Now she is the second or third lead in a new show called "Family Tools." She is not longer the hot chickie so she plays the sister.
The shows on TVLand are full of ex-stars with small shows that they are starring in but which are not by any means hits. They are just comfortable for old people like me to watch our old favorites.
A prime example is "Hot in Cleveland" with Betty White, Jane Leeves from Frazier, Valerie Bertinelli, and Wendy Mallick from "Just Shoot Me."
Also there is a show with the ever annoying Fran Drescher who was "The Nanny."
Ahhh--memories--Fran Drescher--reminds of a jewish princess joke: why does a jewish princess have crows feet around her eyes? Ans: you want me suck what?
Don Knotts in Andy Griffith, then Three's Company...never mind...
Very few actors have done that.
Raymond Burr is another.
Dick van Dyke; Jack Klugman; Jack Webb (if you think Dragnet and Dragnet '67 were different).
The English Dude in "House" and Fry and Laurie
Robert Young - Marcus Welby and Father Knows Best.
Andy "The Hillbilly Commie" Griffith had two hit shows. I know, because I live in Mayberry.
I'm looking at Pilot Mountain.
Yeah, I don't really live in Mayberry, which, as I understand it, is Mt. Airy, rather I live a bit east of there, in a much smaller town. We only wish we were as cosmopolitan as Mayberry.
"Pilot Mountain" conjures up an unfortunate image in my mind.
I honestly enjoy watching Andy Griffith Show, but someone pointed out that there was a lie in every show, and I think they were right.
You're correct, Sixty, Mt. Airy is the town. My old barber had a photograph of Floyd's barbershop hanging on his wall, along with other Floyd the barber memorabilia.
The town in Andy Griffith was Mount Pilot, which has even more disturbing mental images.
...or maybe not...
Actresses have shorter shelf-lives. Actors tend to have a lot more shots.
James Garner, John Ritter, H. Jon Benjamin (ok, voice actors often have half-a-dozen successful shows), and probably a lot of others that I don't know because my TV knowledge is lacking.
