Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It is funny how much beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's laughable actually. And the time that you waste arguing with silly people can be better spent elsewhere. It is clear though that peoples real attitudes shine through in their arguments, and sometimes it's not pretty.

That was a truly unforgettable episode of Twilight Zone. You have to remember, that was in a period before people had become jaded by slasher type horror everywhere. When the camera swung away from the normal woman to the freak attendants it was a genuine shock moment.
Oh, yeah, it was, ricpic!
I own this episode. My kid loves the Twilight Zone episodes.
And I hear ya, Trooper.
I was looking for an older TV series to get my son interested in. This will do it I believe.
That episode was not the one where the old dying rich guy made his kids (heirs) wear ugly masks?
After he died, they took the masks off to find their faces had morphed into what the mask looked like.
No, AJ, this was the world where the woman was so ugly she had to go to the land of the ugly people.
(Insert comment about DailyKos here....)
I believe if I am not mistaken that the beautiful girl was played by Donna Douglas soon to be made famous on the Beverly Hillbillies. But I could be wrong about that.

That's another cool thing about that show--the who's who of future acting talent employed. Anybody know if Serling cast the show too?
Troop is half-right. A different actress played the woman before the reveal.
I don't know if Serling did the casting but a lot of the actors seem to have been prominent on the various CBS Playhouse/Studio and other "golden age" TV dramas. Which would make sense, given that Serling cut his teeth in that era.
"Twilight Zone" is really a remnant of that era, and completely un-duplicate-able in modern times. Weird, innit?
