Racism at the Oscars

I haven't posted about the controversy about the Oscars. I mean it would be a perfect post at Lem's but he would delete what I have to say since he is a card carrying cuckservative.

It seems that a big segment of the douche bags of color community is up in arms at the lack of nominations of African Americans in the Oscar. They are absolutely right. The fact that there were no superior performances by black actors does not matter. A quota must be established so an equal amount of Oscars should go to Black actors every every year. Even if they didn't make a movie this year. I mean how can they ignore the life time achievements of Jimmy JJ Walker or Sherman Hemsley? Fred Re Run Berry surely deserves an Oscar instead of some simpering moron like Leonado De Caprio or an old fart like Robert DeNiro. It is ludicrous that a seminal beauty and thespian phenomena like Shirley Hempill has been denied lo these many years! Take that statue away from Meryl Streep and bestow it on Oprah where it really belongs! When will the artistry of Marlon Wayan's finally be recognized?

I plan to boycott the Oscar telecast this year. Well I wasn't going to watch it anyway. It conflicts with the the Real Housewives. But I am not watching in solidarity with my Black brothers and sisters who have been treated so shamefully.

Between one and 10 are eight other places one can land and make a point without necessarily having to haul out contempt or roll over in passivity.

The challenge in using humor involves finding a way through or around the fight or flight response to invite the hearer or reader feel safe or exposed enough to laugh and look at the situation differently.

At best, I experience Lem as an immigrant who loves America. Someone who became a citizen of the US and has found his voice. There's honor in that, regardless of how cucked anyone believes his goose to be.

If you're looking for some Reality TV fun, then head over to Scott Adams to read his Reality TV solution to a situation where the people are tired of entrenched powers and monied special interests:

To be perfectly clear, I support a Trump presidency ONLY under the following conditions:

1. Trump commits to regular televised meetings on key topics.

2. Both Sanders and Bloomberg are on the team.

3. Trump adds women and minority leaders to the televised meetings, as needed, so we hear all voices.

That’s what a system looks like. It gets us away from the ridiculous process in which voters try to decide which candidate is doing the best job of lying about how easy it will be to achieve his or her goals.

All we need for this vision to happen is Trump agreeing now to offer both Sanders and Bloomberg key spots in his administration’s future televised policy debates.

If you are worried that a President Trump would turn into a dictator, I remind you that his core supporters are the most well-armed, freedom-loving citizens in the country. They wouldn’t like it if Trump goes dictator. And Trump wouldn’t enjoy being the leader of a country where he can’t go outdoors in public. You’re safer than you think.

In the United States, we might never get another chance to fire the government. We can do this.

This black guy I hired as a cook got into the safe and stole some cash, then acted all innocent. Does that count for an honorable mention at least?

I'm boycotting in support of the my Asian Brothers and Sisters. Where are the Chinks, Japs, and Gooks on the big screen?

The new Star wars movie made $200 million box office from china - yet it doesn't have one Asian actor. Not even Mr. Sulu.

I believe the O-scars are healing. The nation is rejecting the whip.

Also, what MamaM said.

After twenty one posts on Old Abe dying for your sins, the final poem appears to have been writ.

Troop should eulogize.

Troop needs to eulogize because I confess I never loved nor appreciated one of those Abe Vigoda posts. Oh, I had my favorites over the years among Troop's series, so I'm not knocking the author. I just figured the Vigoda thing was NYC values.
