She had to pick out a dress for our niece. It was like a mini "Say Yes to the Dress. "A friend of ours in the neighborhood owns a store where she just sells communion and baptism stuff. So we set up an appointment and found a great dress.

Theologically speaking, this dress is a little more important than the wedding dress. I think it is wholly fitting that Lisa would go all out for it. Good for you both supporting the Sacraments and your neighborhood specialty store.
Thanks Ruth Anne. I always buy local if I can. I might spend a little more but it keeps the mom and pop stores alive just a little bit longer.
on earth is there anything closer to heaven than a young young lady in a communion dress?
how very nice of you to post this for her. cut out the picture and save it for her...she will treasure it when she is older and you are gone to dust.
