Happy Easter Everybody!

I had more time than I thought today as the people all came in early or ordered on the Internets.

I hope that you and your families have a wonderful Easter.

I will be at church.

And then the pizzeria.

Happy Easter everyone.

Awww. It is raining big time here for Easter and looks like it is going to go all day. I feel bad for the kids. Every year the Lions Club puts on an Easter Egg Hunt at the local fairgrounds. The children are limited to up to age 9 so the older kids can't scoop up all the eggs from the little kids. They get a basket and go look for dyed eggs. Running all over the grassy area and looking under bushes and benches. If they find a gold egg...they turn it in for a silver dollar. Oooooh aaaaah. Big thing for the little kids. My daughter used to love this activity and was THRILLED to find a gold egg.

Bummer for the kids...and the Lions. Those guys and gals work so hard to put the event together.

Because a ham was over $30 for even the smallest size....we are having traditional Easter bbq pork ribs ;-)

I mispronounced "mangiando" making it sound like "mangianto".

I liked the "noodles fettucini" part. You're prolly the only one who knows what that refers to.

And no reason the put scare quotes around my name. It's real. We're on the same side, Nick.

bruce, My pronouciation and understanding has waned since my grandma died. I just learned I've been mispronouncing "Buona Pasqua" for years. I stopped in my favorite coffee shop, Pacific Bean[near Crystal Pier] today. The owner is an Italian immigrant and lots of dagos hang out there. He greeted me w/ the correct pronounciation before I said it incorrectly.
