Plus spumoni......

Now spumoni is Italian Neopolitan ice cream and the best in NYC can be found in the Spumoni Gardens on 86th St.

Yummy

Spumoni was what the non Eyetalians called me as a kid. Real creative!

I thought with all the new technology cameras now do an instant correction for sun wipeout, but not so.

Spumoni never stands alone, there's always Tortoni alongside it. It's always Spumoni and Tortoni. Okay, I just googled it. Tortoni comes in a cup and has what I call sand on top. Spumoni is vanilla, chocolate and pistachio in a wedge.

Being non-Italian kid, with vanilla as the ONLY flavor served in our home, Nick Spumoni sounds like a colorful alternative. Close to dashing.

ricpic, where were you looking that you missed the Foam, Fruit and Nuts part?

Being from Wisconsin, there were more flavors of ice cream than people of color. I "discovered" Babcock Hall ice cream in college which was named after the guy who invented a butterfat measure.

Still best "ice cream" I ever had was some chocolate gelato on a very hot summer day in Rome. The chocolate was somehow more chocolate than chocolate.

I have a chirbit to address that point, Nick. But I won't bother linking it.

Damn, son, have a heart.

chick, I don't think I've ever busted your balls? I understand it's often tough to discern the intent in a forum like this. But, if you see my ballbusting @ TOP compared to here it's pretty clear. I don't know that I've ever gone dark here? However, if I cross the line just say so. Windbag has and we're cool..I think.

"Across the Pacific" is a great movie. None of these punk actors today could hold Bogie's jock. Or scratch his balls. Not that I'm talking about Madame's son, of course.

Did I mention that she's beauteous?

Linking isn't a bother. It's a necessity. Without radio linkage, the Battle of Kasserine Pass would have been lost and we'd all be speaking German today.

NTTAWWT. I believe Madame is a prime specimen of the legendary Rhineland Lorelei.

Isn't it confusing when I quote comments that include quotes themselves?

I'm sure Madame's brilliance allows her to read such comments without confusion, however. Just as Eva Braun was able to read Der Fuehrer's mind.

I am the edutcher here.

We're cool and we're a pain in the ass. That makes us polaroids.

@Chip S

Damn, son, did you ever do Carol Herman?

Love the ballbusting! I feel like I'm back in the dugout.

MamaM, once upon a time a commenting comet streaked across the night sky at TOP, illuminating it with the most brilliant parodies of Carol Herman imaginable.

I would never try to follow in the stardust path of the great Herman Carol (pbuh).

That was a brilliant impression, Chip! Truly inspired.

Nick, I left you a voice mail in the Easter thread.

IIRC, Sixty did Carol at Woodstock in '69.
