They also changed all of the street signs and took all of the city garbage cans off Court St. You see there wasn't any city cans back in the 1960's. Everybody cleaned up after themselves.
I am waiting for the guy to bring me my check and he hasn't shown up yet. What's up with that shit?

It all went to union dues.
Are you serious about no NYC garbage cans on the streets in the 60's? My memory is more full a' holes than a Pittsburgh infield (50's comment) but it seems inconceivable that that was the case.
There were few and far between. Not like now where there is one every block.
You see people used to steal them in my neighborhood to burn leaves and shit in the backyard.
They used to shit in the backyard in your neighborhood? In garbage cans?
No burn shit. Like old clothes. Leaves. Papers. Unwanted relatives.
Shit like that there.
Here's where we burn shit in my my backyard. link
Now that's cool.
In my next house I plan to put a pizza oven in the back yard like they have on "Extra Virgin." A brick oven to make pizza with a coal oven. Now that's living.
Nice job, chick, you do your honey proud.

Thanks! I'm trying to get all the grass to green which is hard to do when you make odd shaped things in your lawn.
Troop of course doesn't have to worry about that.
Well, my hat's off to you...masonry in a circle.
I like cozy little yards like Troop's, in England don't they call them gardens, and have all sorts of bright flowers. I'd do exactly the same with the vines on the fence...privacy is the ticket.
