Now they want the Yankees to spend more money?

The papers are full of hot stove stuff today because the Yankees announced that they signed CC Sabathia. Now they want them to go after Teixeira because Boston is after him. I don't think that is the way to go. We should sign Manny instead. He would be totally motivated to destroy the Red Sox and if we put him behind A-Rod than that douche might actually hit in the clutch because he would see pitches to hit in big spots because they don't want Manny to come up when the game is on the line. Manny is the real deal and a proven commidity. Pay him what he wants and if we squeeze two championships out of it that will be good enough for me.
