You know the show with Mr. Spocks Father.

Someone came into the store today from Seattle and of course I had to bore them with TV trivia. Now I ask them what is the best TV show ever set in Seattle and of course they say Frazier. Please. It's Here Comes the Brides with Robert Brown, the Starksy and Hutch Guy, teen heartthrob Bobby Sherman and Mr. Spocks Father. Mark Lenard who played the villain of the piece is also the dude who played Mr. Spocks father on the original Star Trek with the broad from Father Knows Best who played his mom. So when I mentioned that show they just looked at me like I had two heads. Nothing new there.

But the secret reason I loved that show was the beautiful Bridget Hanley who played the leader of the women on the show. She was a cute and perky Brunette and another lovely Irish lass to throw into our discussion of beautiful Irish ingenues.

Man she was hotness.

I remember that show!

Hey...remember the episode where Bobby Sherman's character is in an explosion and the episode ends with him floating in the water with the logs? I don't think I ever found out what happened to him on the show after that!

But I did have his record. "Cried Like a Baby" or something like that?

I just love seeing people from that show in other stuff. Robert Brown who was the oldest brother was the half/white half black guy on Star Trek who duked it out with the Riddler Frank Gorshin. Or least that is how I remember it.

Bridget also guested a few times on Room 222.

All the girls had Bobby Sherman posters and records in those days.

I am freakin' old.

Oh...Room 222. That was really a great show. Well, I was a kid. Of course it was great. :)

What did you think of Karen Valentine? I thought she was adorable.

I was trying to keep it clean Darcy but I was actually just thinking of a Bridget Hanley and Karen Valentine Sandwich.

How do you read my mind like that.

Oh, pfft! Stop that. :)

Umm...the "stop that" was about the "I'm freakin' old" crap.

LOL on the sandwich.

The bluest skies you've ever seen in Seattle...
and the hills the greenest green in Seattle.

My very first single was Bobby Sherman. He was a sort of John Edwardsy type which I have definitely outgrown. I like brawny Irish men or Scottish bald guys with brogues.

That's interesting because I still love Angie Dickerson and Annette Funicello. But that's me.

I don't think I'd ever heard of that show before.

Mark Lenard was okay as Spock's father--but he was better as the Romulan Commander making a tentative strike into Federation territory in "Balance of Terror".

All of us old guys stlll love Angie and Annette. Ever since Wagon Train and the Mickey Mouse Club. Remember - you weren't thinking of Cubby when you sang along: See ya real soon... Why? because we can't wait to see Annette in that sweater again, that's Y. You don't think our breast fixations came simply from our mothers being stacked and sweet, do you?

*Getting out my bagpipes, practicing my Scottish brogue, and thinking about going with the shaved head look*
