The results are in and it is Mary Ann by a nose. Well not by a breast. By getting one more vote Mary Ann has won the pool. The official results;
Mary Ann 11 votes 34%
Ginger 10 votes 31%
Mrs. Howell 2 votes 6%
The Professor 9 votes 28%
Thanks to all that participated.

Damn it. Well I guess that does finally settle that.
We should solve some other major issues with trooper polls: energy, taxation methods, sexiest catwoman...
Troop, when will you poll on the other great TV rivalry?
Jennifer or Bailey?
Let me guess, Edj...Bailey. I remember that my brother really liked her.
Yeah Darcy, you guessed it.
And here I thought I was the ONLY fan she had! ;?)
Who was the other vote for Mrs. Howell?
Come on guys, 'fess up. Who's got it bad for Lovey?
The other vote?
Now wait just a doggone Knoxville Tennessee minute, knox... are you saying the one vote for Mrs. Howell was yours?
Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that but, on the other hand, there might be. I'm just saying, this would not be the first voter fraud event in history if indeed shenanigans have taken place. Has anyone talked to Simon? What about RH?
I really hope we are not all forced into lawyering up. I really really hope not.
LOL! Trooper had those poll results posted up top for a while and it attributed 1 vote to Simon. Now all of a sudden there are 2 votes.... so, I was just wondering. No, Lovey's not my type. And, hey, now that I think of it, why was there nothing for the ladies on Gilligan's Island?
Alright then I shall take your word for it and climb down from my litigious high horse, knox. [hey, by the way, thanks for the cool links at Althouse to all that HuffPo stuff.]
But what do you mean "nothing for the ladies?" You didn't find the Skipper to be cute? The hell? He had a dimple when he smiled and was big and nice to everyone. What about Gilligan himself? You mean I've been using a faulty model for attracting babes all these years and I didn't even know it? Dang. Thanks for telling me... before it is too late and I'm too old to care.
There, Troop. There is an idea for a new poll -- Who was more hot - Gilligan or the Skipper?
Red--
Oh, hell, no, there are lots of Bailey (Jan Smithers) fans on the 'net. I mean, come on!
At the same time, Loni was no slouch. (And with all that weight....) I thought she brought a lot of depth to what could've been a really shallow role.
She wasn't a natural blond (That's for troop).
Blake, I have to agree.
We have been watching 'krp the last few weeks and I am amazed at how well the show holds up.
all of the charcters were well developed and three dimensional, something unknown on modern TV.
I thought she brought a lot of depth to what could've been a really shallow role.
This is true, and I'm not kidding. Loni was good on that show, even if her wigs... not so much. I mean, that hair looks like a wig, not a dye-job.
I still have a soft spot in my heart for the episode where the football player doesn't want Les Nessman in the locker room. Handled very well.
Eh, Knox, it was the '70s. Hair was like that. Got even bigger in the '80s.
I had forgotten that football episode! That was good!
There was a censorship episode with that guy who ran around through most of the '80s being an ersatz Jerry Falwell. I wonder how that one would hold up?
