Now behave and play amongst yourselves until I get back!

I will be off the grid for the next couple of days so behave and play amongst yourselves. Share your toys and make sure that everybody gets a chance. And everybody has to be included in the game.

See you in a couple of days.

Thanks buddy. I will be thinking up new bits while I am lollygaging around with my leg up.

I just hope I am not up for PA Announcer.

Ouch.

Break a leg, troop! Oh wait! (insert other encouragement here)

We will work hard to keep ourselves entertained in your absence.

Good luck, we're rooting for your speedy and healthy return.

Wait. Don't you have guest bloggers like Insty does when he's away for a few days?

Speaking of brain freeze, they've just discovered that brain freeze is actually the reaction of a nerve in your throat to the ice cream cold. The reaction is in your throat but you feel it in your brain. I don't believe it either but that's what scientists say happens.

Good luck, Troop!

Try to stay focused on how much better you will feel next week.

Now, I do most of my lollygaging on the internets. I bet no one will use the word "lollygaging" in 30 years or so maybe even sooner. I suspect it's an old Irish or British term probably referred to when longshoremen goofed off and did little or no work.

Yeah! Heheheh. Who wants to guest blog?

The Boy was walking around after his appendectomy (and during his appendix bursting) like it weren't no thing.

Damn kids and their lizard-like regenerative properties.

Good luck, Troop! May you be equally lizard-like.

When did Milton-Bradley put the brain freeze challenge in that game?
I have an intact & working 60s version of the game which I passed on to my kids and there's no "brain freeze" on the game board.
