I can't wait until this election is over. I hope it doesn't drag on with court cases and controversy. Let's just get it done and concentrate on important stuff. Like the Giants winning the Super Bowl again.

Ditto that. This election season is like the song that never ends. I am tired of people who have nothing better to talk about. You say how about those Bears and tey want to talk about Obama. I was watching the last game of the Series in my neighborhood bar. It was the ninth inning and I was rooting for Philly to pull it off. The mook nexdt to me- he wants to talk politics. It took all I had not to bitch slap him and make him cry for his mommy.
Yeah, except that even when the election is finally over--whether Tuesday night or January...that's when 2012 is going to start.

Maybe we could start treating political nerds with even less respect than other sorts of nerds, like, I dunno, Furries?
Who ever wins I think I may need to find a new job. Nearly all of my office are Obamabots and I mean the die hards. On Friday one of my co-workers looked at me like I had a third eye when I disagreed with her that Obama had leadership qualities. Then she thought I was a fool because I 'fell' for the whole Wright controversy.
I'm pretty much done taling politics with people to be honest. This country is so polarized to the point where you can't even have a conversation with someone of a different political stripe without it degenerating into a shouting match or being called names. Even Althouse has become monotonous with the trolls or plain out snark that you can't even have a simple conversation.
Either way its going to be a long friggin four years. I think I'll spend it playing World of Warcraft and taunting the kids.

Yeah that sucks but it is the same in my office. The revenue producers who keep the money flowing in (there are only 4 of us) are conservatives.
The others are Obama zealots and don't realize Obama will likely hurt our business bigtime and ALL WILL PAY for that.
They just believe in that class warfare and think he will take from the "lucky and undeserving" rich.
The good news is Obama will screw up things badly IMO and he will create millions of conservatives in the next four years.
