Well they just finished filming.
They just finished filming the last episode of "What Not To Wear" in the store just a few minutes ago. They only did 13 episodes and are going on a six week hiatus in the heat of the summer. So they managed to squeeze us in and I am very grateful.
It was an eventful shoot as the subject was a fourteen who was small on the top with a small waist but a bigger bottom. They couldn't find clothes anywhere and were very happy with what they found at Lee Lee's. Especially our accessories that we really stepped up from last year.
They purchased a pair of trouser jeans and a great dress from one of our new vendors. As well as several pieces that are staples at the store.
Oh and for "What Not to Wear Fans" like Knox and Dust Bunny Queen, you be glad to know that Nick the hairstylist guy is no longer with the show. They have a new hair person whose name is Ariel and the change over will be evident in a few weeks on air.
Some gossip for youse guys.
And the prosciutto, mozzeralla, tomato and basil sandwiches were a big hit along with every one's favorite cannoli's.

Nick is gone? I'll have to tell Mrs. Hoosier.
I think Stacy is so hot. I mean that personality with those killer legs. I think I need some air.
And a bottle of ketchup.
Stacy is very nice and very, very thin.
I watch the show with the wife and eldest daughter whenever they have a hot woman getting the makeover.
Nick was a prick.
That is my professional opinion about the matter.
Trey - who hopes that Stacy is not TOO thin.
I never met Nick so I don't have much to say about him.
I do hear that the new person is really talented and nice. I will be curious to see in the coming weeks how it works out.
They will be on hiatus for the next six weeks and start refilming in the fall.
If you ever want to see hot women get a makeover, pop by the store sometimes. You will see it every day. Curvy beatiful women who walk out of the store feeling like a million bucks.
Nothing is better then when they buy a new prima donna bra and can't wait to show off how hot they look.
The joke a lot of them have is, "Hey Trooper would you buy a me drink if I walked into the bar wearing this bra."
Thanks for the update. Do you know when they will air your show?
I really like What Not To Wear because they take women who are actually rather ordinary or who have some definite figure issues and show us how to cope and make the best of our assets.
Personally, I have learned a lot and now force myself to buy things with the attributes that I need. (Stuff I probably would have passed on before.) And what to avoid. (boxy jackets or tops and jackets any longer than just above my hip line.)
I often wonder how many of their 'subjects' continue with the new look or slip slide back into their old ways. A follow up show might be interesting to see.
It should air in about six weeks or so but I will pimp it big time.
It was funny that this time went very smooth. The wife pulled a bunch of clothes and the stylist was more interested in getting great clothes and not in proving anything. That's what happens when you are working with someone who is confident and knows what they are doing. Stacy went right to the stuff we had picked out and loved it. We were paticualarly happy that she loved the accessories. The last time she was in the store was about a year ago and she told us then that we should step up the accesories. She paticularly loved these deerskin butter soft purses that we got in and the chunky jewelry. So they bought earnings and necklaces and bracelets as well as several dresses. All in all it was very satisfying for my wife to get that affirmation by how much they loved the stuff we had in the store.
We are going to email the girls that came to the store last year to see how they are doing. Specificly Kathy of Viginia and Glenda from Miami. They were really nice and I think they might have a few things to say. The wife will be posting that at her blog at Ivillage.

Wow, Michelle came to your store!
The Flower loves this show.
I want a Lee Lee's makeover! I'm coming to your store, Trooper. Let's do a little vid!
Hey Darcy we could post it both here and on the Lee Lee's Valise site. Just get ready you are going to love the clothes because you and Dust Bunny Queen and Ruth Anne are our target audience. We have tons of stuff you are going to love.
I'm in! It will be either Sept. 4, 5th or 6th. This will be fun!
