DId you ever get the feeling?

Did you ever get the feeling....that even though we are supporting him all the way.....that Professor Turley might be a little over matched when is going up against Obama and the lapdog media?

Maybe.

Maybe not.

I think he may be overmatched. He is not a hardball guy.

It'll be an education, for sure.

For folks wondering, the photo is of Wally Cox, a funny man.

Actually, I do, but not from smelly sockpuppets.

Chip, Chick did a "Who's that girl" post @ Lem's that went on for what seemed like weeks.

Actually, Rabel and April April got it within an hour.

I just saw the post.

Mama June, right?

ndspinelli said...

chick, And how the fuck would I know that??

I'll bet Troop knew it. And if Troop knew it, you should have too.

Am I right, fogblather?

Not a very logical assertion, particularly for a scientist. You don't want to become an Althouse and treat your commenters like shit. If you do a post like that, as soon as someone gets it correct you say so, and give that person[s] kudos. Do I need to teach managerial and social skills?

Stop it already, spinelli. I'm crying now.

ndspinelli said...

"There's no crying in baseball..err, blogging." Great job being easy going about it, chick.

Speaking of baseball and women, who was the greatest WAG of all time? (Marilyn Monroe is DQ'd b/c Joe D was already retired when they hooked up.)

I say it was Mamie van Doren.

ndspinelli said...

Bo Belinsky throws a no-no, gets Mamie, and then goes straight downhill. The dorky Jason Verlander is right up there bagging Kate Upton. I thought chicks dig the long ball. chicks, not chickie.

Chip S. said...

I agree that Kate > Mamie in terms of peak value, nick.

We'll have to wait and see about career value.

My brother is a writer of all things and he worked for a while in a couple of Men's Rags like Maxim. He interviewed Ana Benson and she spewed a bunch of stuff when she was married to a Met's pitcher. Later she was in Playboy and after the divorce she was on a reality TV where she got arrested when she tried to rob her ex husband.

She thought she was the sexiest ballplayer wife but she really was the craziest.

That's for sure. I hope Kris Benson's ride was worth the ticket.
