I know that little Debbie called me out but I refuse to engage
I have a policy now where I try not to engage with people who are a pain in the ass and have proved themselves to be so over and over again.
That is Inga at Turley's and Lawnboy and Debbie at Lem's place. It is just not worth the effort. I am too busy and life is too short.
This is the real Irish Punk Band. Black 47. I saw them many a night at Paddy Reilly's back in the day when I was bouncing. Enjoy.

You don't have to worry about Inga. She's plenty busy at JT's. Last time I looked 50% of the comments involved her in some way.
Deborah is Inga-lite. I called her that.
Life is too short, and we're well past the 50% mark. Just ignore whoever bothers you.

It is interesting that she choose the name Annie as her handle there. She really is the evil blogger lady's alter ego.

I don't know but it seems to be dominated by Inga. Every other post is her replying or arguing or saying she was attacked and why doesn't anyone come to her defense.

I think she's just trying to enforce a "don't drag commenter's kids into discussions" rule.
I think she is running interference for Lawnboy and his meal ticket and it is not the first time she has done that.
Plus the evil blogger lady brings that kid into her discussions all the time.
That "kid" is thirty years old. WTF?
Trooper and Haz are correct about Turley's place. What could be a great blog is polluted by Annie (aka Inga, Allie Oop, Ingemouse, et al). Spinelli is a soldier for keeping the blog somewhat balanced. But...I looked in on Turley's today...the urge to vomit was nearly overwhelming. I'm unlikely to return there as I get my life back in order, which is working out quite well. Last cancer ray gun treatment is tomorrow, and alcohol consumption is down about 80%+. I'll explain how that occurred in a later comment...an unusual approach approved by the doctors at a major teaching hospital.
A hospital whose PR department has asked me for an interview, for publication, on my experience in oncology there, since it is my second go round using unusual, but successful, techniques, by Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Intervention, and Radiation Oncology....so I go in an hour early tomorrow for that. Only bad part...I'll be in the goofy gown, open in the front, with the nifty targeting tattoos showing on my now pot belly. Photos are to be taken in the interview and then in the treatment process. Ugh. But what the flip, eh? I know I am purdy :-)
If the technique being used on me can be expanded to breast cancer, the result will be phenomenal, because it is non-invasive...and effective...and it is being tested for that as we speak....the device is only available in two locations in the USA and one in Germany. Almost 100% non-invasive. In my case, 100% because I have had no side effects. Hardest part for me, really, is lying motionless on a body cast bed for 45-50 minutes...not easy for a wired personality like mine...but I just tell myself, "don't be a punk ... don't move whatever itch or cramps develop" ... and it works. Compared to being shot at, this is a cake walk.
I choose to comment here at this time because it is the only place, that I frequent regularly,that is free of the shit-birds. I thank Trooper for that...a refuge is nice now and then.
Ari - that is great news, and your role as a tester of the new method of treating cancer seems entirely appropriate to discuss on Veteran's Day. You've willingly answered the call to serve others again. They may never meet you, but other patients and their loved ones will surely thank you and everyone else involved when they are cured of cancer without having an operation.
Turley puts up interesting topics. The thing is, the conversations start to devolve about fifteen comments in. When I comment, I try to comment early in the thread. Otherwise, there's not likely to be an interesting conversation.
And Happy Veterans Day, Ari! Thank you for your service and willingness to spend your life for our country.
Ari -Great to hear you're doing well, also that your alcohol use is way down.
