I haven't been posting much because we are really busy. Not to say that business is good because it really isn't that great. Retail sales are down about 14% across the board. The bounce you get from Black Friday and Cyber Monday has dissipated because people extend it so much that the money disappears on electronics and bullshit before you get a chance to get it. So we have to scratch to get it in the store.
The bra store is saving our bacon because girls always want some new lingiere. We are getting bridal parties and men buying gifts so it is working exactly the way it is supposed to work. We arranged the front store as well to make it more gift-centric and to take advantage of the passerby trade.
So we have been working feverishly. Still having problems with the radiator. Still trying to get stuff on-line. It is just a lot of work and I am not feeling all that hot.
But so it goes.

A friend of mine who owned a family retail biz in Boonton, NJ would lament late Thanksgiving's for biz. The big stores put him out of biz 20 years ago.
