Rest in peace sweet prince.

Khan: [quoting from Melville's Moby Dick] To the last, I will grapple with thee... from Hell's heart, I stab at thee! For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee!
(Star Trek, The Wrath of Khan, 1982)
I am sure he is in a better place.
But I bet he is still spitting at William Shatner.

Hey easy there.

He is in my personal Paheon of heroes.

Ricardo Montalban. Gavin Mcleod. Bert Convey. Bill Cullen. Gene Rayburn.

All of them had to have banged Charo.

No, I love a good ham.

Otherwise he'd just have vanished in his scenes with Shatner.

I love that in the '90s, he lent his voice to "Freakazoid" as the arch-nemesis.

Of course! We are one big, happy fleet! Ah, Kirk, my old friend, do you know the Klingon proverb that tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold?

He also had a small part in the WW2 classic Battleground.

If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it.

I hope his coffin is appointed in rich Corinthian leather.

Aww, this is a sweet thread.

I loved the way he said "Cordoba!"

He was married to the same woman for over 60 years, and so faithful that he found kissing actresses in scenes uncomfortable, if I remember correctly, according to Esther Williams in her autobiography.

I know he'd been in a wheel chair for a while, I think from an old injury (on set?) that had troubled him for decades and finally sat him down for good.

I thought it was very cool of Robert Rodriguez to have him walk--and be superhero--in "Spy Kids".
