Technical help youse guys.

I posted a link to Trooper York on another blog and when I tried to click on it there was a message that said that it was directing them to somewhere else or something and that it wasn't reccomended that you click on it. What's that about?

Is that some kind of spyware attached to my blog or something? If so, how do I fix it?

Maybe blake or chickenlittle or one of you savvy guys can tell me what to do.

I killed chickenlittle and ate him with a nice chianti and soma fava beans.

Sorry I can't help-I think blake or Ron are your best bet.

I think it is just a warning to inform the clicker that the link will take them away from the blog they are currently on.

More details, please.

What blog?

It might be, as AJ said, a warning that you're leaving one site. Some of the bigger sites do this to remind you they're not in complete control of the Internet and you might see shocking pictures of Julie Newmar if you click with abandon.

btw, that's a cool Invisible Man plastic model kit. The cover art is very James Bama inspired (he did all the box model art in the original Aurora Monster Models). The Invisible Man was never part of the original series, but may have been planned. Aurora Plastics (located in West Hempstead, L.I.) planned to make a complete Madam Tussaud's "Chamber of Horrors" series, including "The Guillotine", "The Rack, "The Electric Chair", and "The Hanging Tree", but only got as far as the Guillotine before a bunch of uppity parental types shut them down. link.

There must be some sort of cool radio-controlled shit attached recently. How else could Titus have found his way home?

Link to the blog you posted on and let us try.

It might be as Blake and AJ said, just a warning that the person is being redirected from that blog/website to a different website/blog.

My security software tells me where the link is going to direct me so that I can make that decision on my own, but often other people just click and are shocked/surprises etc.

Was Trooper posting ads for thongs on other people's blogs again?

Actually it was on the evil blogger lady;s blog. I had to jump in the American Idol thread to defend the honor of American Idol and all it's works.

That is the only redeeming feature of that rat's nest of iniquity.

I posted a linc to the Mary Travers in hell post in a discussion of that creep Bob Dylan and got that crazy message.

I think the evil blogger lady put the maalorkies on me.

Some people who seem intelligent non-the-less learn very slowly. And, I might add, ignore the useful advice they have tendered to others.

Did I miss any cliches?

And don't read their email. Or respond to it. Or whatever.

I got an unusual warning message when I tried to follow the link to Reagan's dalliance with Moneypenny. Needless to say, once I got that message, I avoided the link. Was that back to a post here?

Trooper York said...

No, there was one in a post of "Mary Travers" in Hell that I deleted.

Penny said...

OK, letting you know then that there was another bad link.

blake said...

Where is it? Did you leave it up?

Penny said...

Troop always leaves it "up", blake.

All the while pretending to be Miss Understood.

One of the ones you removed from "Soak in Simon Cowell’s evident distaste for Kara Dioguardi...", was it?

It's hard to diagnose something that's not there any more.

Google seems to give you a clean bill of health. Speaking of which, I hope that leg is better.
