Michaleen Flynn: No patty-fingers, if you please. The proprieties at all times. Hold on to your hats

Thee are just happy to see me.
Penelope Worth: Surely you can walk to the barn without that. Quirt Evans: What? Penelope Worth: The gun! Quirt Evans: Oh, well, it balances me. One leg's longer than the other. You know, the weight. Penelope Worth: Thee are a liar. (Angel and the Badman, 1947)
I was commenting the other day on how many B-listers die in the area (this is where the retirement homes and convalescent hospitals for old SAGgers are).
But you can get caught up in this stuff. Veronica Lake had an unpleasant end, as did Carole Landis. Rita Hayworth (grandmother of one of my buddy's girlfriends when I was growing up) ended up with Alzheimer's.
I hate Sarah Jessica Parker, Robin Williams, Tim Robbins, Susan Saradon, the BJ Hunnicut guy, brussel sprouts, the Boston Red Sox, commies and well, lawyers.

I loved that movie. Loved it even more because it tried to be anti-gun but disproved its own thesis.
Too bad about the real life fate of the lead actress though. :(
I know. I did several posts on that.
It just goes to show you, you can go from starring in a movie with the Duke to being dog food.
It is important to be humble.
Give 'er some a' that friendly persuasion, Duke.
I didn't know that about Gail Russell. Sad!
And I'm ashamed to say that I haven't seen this movie, so I hope I can find it. I liked the other movie they were in together.
