Tales of Amy's Garden, Troll edition

Fiver: There's something very queer about the warren this evening
Hazel: Is it dangerous?
Fiver: It's not exactly danger, it's... oh, I don't know. Something oppressive... like thunder.
Hazel: I feel it too. The lady in the cottage seems out of it. Look at what has happened to the garden. It is full of trolls. Smelly trolls who want you to do terrible things to them but still claim they are nice.
Bigwig: Yes and they are very bossy. Telling everyone what to do!
Fiver: Well there was always trolls in the garden, but now they seem to have taken over.
Bigwig: I know the reason. The lady in the cottage used to chase them away. With her broom.
Hazel: Well why did she lay down her broom. She doesn’t even fly on it anymore.
Bigwig: I don't really know. She seems very sad.
Fiver: And lazy.
Bigwig: I think she has been cleaning her house. There are lot of bottles and boxes in the trash. She must be very tied.
Hazel: I hate trolls. I much prefer rabbits.

OMG. I love it. I seriously want to do one of those in my sister's woods.

Got it in one. And it was very nasty with Mary in the mix.

Mary? I thought she was banned-for-life or something. Did her posts remain or did they get the old 'removed by blog administratrix' label?

I certainly don't miss that crap. But, perhaps surprisingly, I miss Maxine Weiss.

Hahaha, forget that shit, I just bet my lungs on the Birds plus four. See you after the game, Dude.

Again, a perfect capture, Trooper.

Ruth, she's still banned. Althouse was just busy today, so the comments stayed up longer than usual. She then, of course, spilled her trolling into my blog, but after I deleted about ten comments of hers without a word, she stopped.

I don't understand what any of this is about. And what is this business about the lady being tied to a broom. I don't get it. It makes no sense.

I must admit though, that thread, aside from the Mary part, was entertaining. When Michael wrote the thing about getting lots and lots of oral sex from women... well, that was hilarious.

Geez, Ruth Anne is sharp!

Now that I know what this is about, it's very funny.

And Freeman, that really was interesting - and hilarious with what the commenters did with that statement. It should be sort of fun from now on.

Excellent piece, Troop.

I actually thought that the trolling would ease up after Nov. 4th, which means I don't get the whole troll thingy.

Mary is a scary lady; staring out the blinds, 27 cats, bones-in-the-basement scary. Yipe.

What's scary is that she still lurks around after all these years. Isn't she a former student? Freakshow.

It's very strange. Catch her on a different week and she's all thoughtfulness and sunshine. Catch her on a day like yesterday, and it's an online sidetrip to crazytown. Catch her on a particularly bad day (or mess with her the way you'd normally mess with a troll), and she will go absolutely nuclear, leaving outrageously weird and obscene messages or, as she's done before on Althouse, posting hundreds of messages in a row.

Ick.

And I thought my Gladys Kravitz neighbor was bad enough.

Deinitely the cherry on the top of a crazytown sundae.

Heh. Your mind is like a steel trap.

Ruth Anne, I used it again just now and thought of you.
