I'm telling you, Apu is messing with our heads man!
How the hell is Indian food winning in our poll. I guess I let the cat out of the bag when I said I hated Indian food. Which is ironic since they probably cooked the cat to make that slop.
Troop I think you're being reprimanded for initially showing prejudice. I mean if Indian food were really that popular, Indian restaurants should greatly outnumber all the others--they don't. I'm in CA, dominated by Mexican and Asian restaurants--what is like out there?
This poll is fixed. Let it slide. You win some, you lose some. The important thing is get back on that horse. So to speak.
Trooper, don't blame me. I was tempted to vote Indian because of the way you have been slagging on it, but I still voted Italian. I bet a lot of the Indian votes were push-back, it can be really good though--I have had my share of bad Indian food too.
I sort of split my ticket by voting Italian and then posting defenses of Indian cookery. I grew up with Italian--it is my comfort food.
Italian is incredibly good. The problem is that American-Italian is skewed toward that red sauce Sicilian style Italian. Best meal I ever had was veal a la francaise with a side order of pasta with just a light coating of olive oil. The play of the lemon, butter and olive oil flavors. Northern Italian. So light, so subtle.
I hate Sarah Jessica Parker, Robin Williams, Tim Robbins, Susan Saradon, the BJ Hunnicut guy, brussel sprouts, the Boston Red Sox, commies and well, lawyers.

That would be South Indian cuisine which you almost never see in the states, too bad.
I could eat Italian food three meals a day for the rest of my life and still not get enough of it.
What would you call an Indian dish made with cat?
Punjab Pussy?
Kitty Curry?

Trooper - You're the one who has been beating the Eddie Curry drum! We're just taking the hints!
