I sell a lot of hot dogs. Hundreds a week at my place. The most popular condiment is ketchup. Hands down favorite. Now, that's because many of them are for kids. Kids like ketchup. They don't like mustard, relish, or slaw. It's rare to garnish a kid's hot dog with relish or slaw. Mustard...maybe half the time.

Most people take mustard and ketchup on their dogs. Then they add something like chili and cheese or slaw. Probably the biggest non-standard order is chili, mustard and onions. The biggest standard order is mustard, ketchup, and chili.

I splash oil from the fryers on any customers who order mayo on their dogs. If the cops are called in, I tell them what the customer ordered, and they have the customer's car towed for good measure.

I ate a bowl of ketchup when I was in college. It nearly killed me, but I would've died happy if it had.

French fries and hot dogs are simply ketchup delivery systems.

What about the forbidden combination of ketchup and mayonnaise? Russian dressing!

Ketchup reminds of Teresa Heinz-Kerry.

Mustard reminds me of Baseball.

Advantage Mustard.

Whats wrong with you people? Only 3 votes for horseradish?

Ketchup and Mayo I can't eat anymore, but Horseradish... ahhh!

On a brat with some saurkraut; on a roastbeef sandwich, with rye bread and swiss cheese. And hot dogs! not that I can eat many hot dogs any more either, but when I do- horseradish and/or spicy mustard!

To be honest I really love horseradish sauce. That is so great on corned beef on rye. With a Dr Browns celray.

Ricpic knows what I am talking about.

I'll take my dogs mounded with mustard, onions, and sweet pickle relish. Mom fixed hot dogs and sauerkraut weekly for us kids, but no buns were involved. I do agree that french fries are a ketchup delivery system. A girl's gotta get her lypocenes somehow.

Mayo on a dog poisons it and defiles the ketchup.
