How could you grow up in Brooklyn and not become a Dodger fan? Okay, the Yanks had Dimaggio, Berra and Rizutto; but the Dodgers had Furillo, not to mention the immortal Cookie Lavagetto. No, it's an offesa a Brooklyn, what you did! Fanabala to Brooklyn. Too much. TOO MUCH!

The Dodgers left Brooklyn two weeks after I was born.

Those dirty rotten stinkers left Brooklyn. I have no respect for anyone that left Brooklyn.

Why would you want to be anywhere else.

I piss on the Dodgers.

*rolls her eyes*

You think Joltin' Joe ever used his bat to piss on a Dodger?

WTF?

The man pissed on the closest fire hydrant like the rest of the dogs back then.

Joe D meant more to Italian immigrants than any politician. My immigrant grandfather[Bari] had a small restaurant in Bristol, Ct. The Yanks were always on the radio. If he was cooking, everything would stop when Joe D came up to bat. My brother was named Joe after Joe D. And..Joe understood how important it was for him to be well dressed and classy because he represented all Italian Americans. He was the anti Charles Barkley in that regard.

Coincidence? I think not.
