Being snowed in can be scarey.

Being snowed in can be scary. All of youse guys in the Midwest that got a lot of snow, be careful.

Because faculty parties can get rough. So to speak.

All I have to say is if I ever meet Al Gore I'm going to kick him in the vagina.

It's transition time in the Midwest. Time for the active guy to hang up his mountain bike for the season and wax up his cross-country skis. Chores change too. I never owned a snowblower nor a power lawn mower. Snowblowers are too scary-too easy to get an appendage sucked in, chewed off and mangled. There's a lot to be said for the simplicity of the old fashioned snow shovel.

As for being snowed in being scarey- I suppose that depends a lot on who you're snowed in with.

I agree. Never date a woman who's really into cocaine. Bad things can happen.

Or a guy, in case Titus stops by. Fairness and all.

Troop: I'm researching a special blogpost on "The Last Letters From Stalingrad". I wondered whether any of the military history types who frequent your saloon can help me out: Link.

Check rcoceans blog. I seem to remember he did several posts on Stalingrad and he is very knowledgable about miltary history.
