That forties clothing really showed off women's figures well. Something about the exaggerated shoulders and the nipped in waists and the skirts at just the right length, plus the substantial wool material. It all worked.
Slight nitpick: that might be a city in England. Bowler hat in middle distance. Curb and road markings. Shape on a bus stop sign? that I remember from England. But then again maybe not. Carry on.
Of course we all know that DBQ wasn't even the mote in the twinkle of an eye back in the forties, or the fifties, or the sixties. How'm I doin' DBQ?
From things she's written, I **think** DBQ is older than I am, by maybe as much as a decade, give or take, and my dad's eye was twinkling in summer 1960.
I hate Sarah Jessica Parker, Robin Williams, Tim Robbins, Susan Saradon, the BJ Hunnicut guy, brussel sprouts, the Boston Red Sox, commies and well, lawyers.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course!
