Fall in the Hamptons

We had a great time. We did a lot of fun stuff. Went to wineries (more on that later). Went to a Haunted House. Went to some decent restaurants and a local pub that was a lot of fun.

But it was autumn. We had to put away our floats and our noodles and our bathing suits. We couldn't lay out in the sun. No barbecue on the lawn. We really missed our friends who vacation with us. But we still had a blast.

So we might make it an annual thing.

Autumn can be lost of fun.

That looks like a good place to have an adult beverage.

Do people in the Hamptons have an accent? When they say Long Island does it come out Lawn Guy Land? Or have so many moved there that the Long Island accent has all but disappeared?

Isn't there a serial killer still active out there in the Hamptons?

The accent in Montauk was more Block Island or Nantucket than Hempstead or Lawrence.

What is the serial killer story you heard ndspinnelli?

There have been ~dozen bodies found buried in the area over the past several years. All, or most of the victims are prostitutes. Not a lot of info released because I don't think the police have much..or they're being saavy. I bet on the former.
