I like the discussions at Turley's when they remain on topic. Instead as soon as Inga and those other ditwad broads get onto a thread it goes to batshit. There are many good and level headed commentators of both persuasions and on all sides of the political spectrum. I suspect that they feel as I do that when the boring repetitive loons start wresting what was a good discussion into the outer limits, it is time to just go do something else.
If Turley wants to keep his status as a respected legal blogger, he'd better do something about keeping control. Making sure that there is only ONE persona per ISP would be a good start. That would stop morons like Inga.
DBQ, I think I made it clear Turley is a milquetoast when it comes to enforcement. But, as we've discussed, if someone is crazy and mean it can be difficult for even a forceful blogger. Turley deleted comments from Dredd yesterday. I think he deleted the one by Dredd to Trooper that is posted here. He wants people to email him about trolls, and he usually responds pretty quickly. Maybe not to the email, but the problem. He did so regarding Dredd the last 2 days regarding emails I sent.
As you pointed out, there can be good threads. There were 2 good threads yesterday about Obama and Holder. I occasionally will make a comment about the good threads and who is NOT commenting there. Any post about Ferguson is going to be hot, unless it's an echo chamber. Turley KNOWS Dredd and Inga are problems. He just doesn't have the ability to pull the trigger. He needs an enforcer.
In researching, a wheelhouse is an enclosed area where a captain steers a ship. So, it connotes a specific area where a person is in control. I've heard "in your/my wheelhouse" in different connotations, but the baseball one seems to be the most common. My old man taught me as a hitter and pitcher[I was a pitcher], you have to know both your wheelhouse and your opponents. It's funny, when you're a hitter, you don't even consciously think, "Oh, that pitch is coming into my wheelhouse" your eyes just grow bigger and you crush it. You can actually see that w/ the right camera angle and slow motion on MLB games. As a pitcher, the last thing you want to see is a hitters eyes growing wide.
It's obvious you are having some enjoyment @ Turley's. That makes me feel good. I missed you since the crash @ TOP. I know you comment here and Lem's but they're not legal blogs. Merde's re-appearance at Lem's coincides with Crack being kicked off of the white blog lady's commenter plantation. Merde is trying to make up for lost comments and clicks by dragging more of the Lemmings back to the plantation.
Meanwhile Crack has posted at least two topics in which he calls out Althaus by name as a racist. Merse can't be bothered to respond to those attacks on his wife. Is that because:

That is exactly what happened.
Here's some tradecraft that I will only share here.
When you are doing undercover work and/or surveillance, you do, or don't do certain things to lure or divert suspicion. Here's an example in surveillance. If I'm in a surveillance van and parked near a subjects house, sometimes I won't follow the suspect if they leave in a vehicle or on foot. You get vibes or energy sometimes if you're focused. Often the eyes of a suspect will show they're hinky, but other times it's just a gut feeling. Now, if the subject leaves, and you don't follow, well then you are golden. Suspicion is gone.
I KNOW lawnboy and his spouse monitor Turley. We all do. That's why I jab him w/ it. I think he comments there @ times. Anyway, as you know, I mentioned seeing lawnboy on campus ogling coeds. That got Inga-lite involved as well. In the 4 plus years I've known about lawnboy I've probably seen him 3-4 times on campus.
As you've read, in a particularly lame effort, lawnboy feigns not knowing Turley's blog. Well, today I used some tradecraft. I made a nice comment about walking through campus yesterday and meeting a daughter and her dad w/ Alzheimer's. I mentioned seeing them @ the student union terrace and how I like to walk along the lake path. I then said I was taking off on a walk this morning on that route. Well, who do I spot going up and down the path but lawnboy! He was eyeballing men of my demographic and gave me a once over. I had shades on and to him I was looking away. That's why Secret Service wear shades. You can look @ someone w/o them knowing. I am in this guys head, big time. It is a muddled, needy and crazy head. Once you're in someone's head, you own them.
