So do we need to discuss punctuation, or would you prefer that Althouse takes the lead on this?

At least today, she is rather outspoken about PERIODS maintaining their conventional American position, and I see you placed one.

Being the community member I am, I am sure it was no surprise that I placed my quote marks OUTSIDE of that period, and that I have no interest in discussing the "ghostly comma" that is missing no less than our dear friend, Bissage.

I am conventionalish! Frugalish!

Well? Actually...the more I think about myself...I am nearly "classic" American.

Anyway, Darwim was a silly man. He only had a nose for the "periods"...if you know what I mean. ;)

Had he not been caught up in "periods", we might see him as a great historian.
