The evil blogger lady is gone?
Or is she just lost in space?
Her blog is missing and the notice from blogger says it has been removed? What's up with that? And if a big time blog like Althouse can go missing what about a little pop stand like me. Was it just a technical glitch? Did something nefarious go on? Is somebody hacking her? Has anyone seen AlphaLiberal? Jeremy? Jay Retread? Mary?
It is really weird. I wanted to post last night but Blogger was doing some sort of maintenance and I couldn't get on it to comment or put up new threads. So something is going on here. What it is, is not exactly clear. There people with signs over there. Mostly saying we have to beware.

Some sort of Blogger snafu. At first you couldn't post anything, then it blew up entirely. Supposedly, it will be back.
We could have a poll on what REALLY happened....she ran off with Titus, Meade ran off with Titus, Meade IS Titus and sabotaged it, garage led a group of hippies and invaded their domicile...the possibilities are endless.
I'm curious if the EBL addresses how much identity she derives from blogging. I noticed on Instapundit that she's tweeting up a storm to get herself through. I don't tweet.
I deleted my blog by accident about two months ago. Oh well, no big loss. It's humbling to consider that the cyber world turns without your contribution, present company excluded.
I just don't want to loose my stories. I copied most of them into word as I composed them but I hope that this isn't a problem for me in the future.
Your commenting was shut down for at least a day. If you can read this, then it is just a matter of time before all is as it was in Blogger land.
I know. Luckily I was out all day yesterday and away from the Internet so I didn't even know what was going on.

Back in January the same thing happened to me. I never did figure it out.
When I cut back on the anti-union, anti-Obama stuff though, things went more smoothly. I mine wasn't even a political blog.

Not necessarily a joke. Althouse was very high profile and gutsy exposing the thuggery of the Left in the War on Walker. She's on their radar and that goes right up to the White House which has a cozy relationship with Google which is the big fish in the blogosphere.
I heard on Twitter that bin Laden posted comments on several prominent American blogs. They learned this from his hard drives. Apparently he used the handles "Cedarford" and "Downtownlad"

I haven't tried this yet, but I plan to. It allows you to back up your blog locally.
The best approach is probably to manage your content with a desktop app, because it'd be a whole lot easier, then upload to various blog vehicles, Twitter, FB, etc.
