Sometimes they serve you a big bowl.

Waddayagonnado?

Some times they serve you a big bowl of shit and you just have to eat it.

Things look pretty bleak here in Brooklyn.

Sales are way down because of the hurricane nobody is traveling. There is no gas. The subway has been fucked up. I don't know how many people are going to come to New York for the Holidays.

I think we can weather the storm. We have loyal fans and people who want our clothes. The clothes are the thing. So we can squeak our way through. I know that we have been through worse stuff. Our new manufacturing plans will help us a lot. I have put things in place that will carry me through.

However I might have to lay somebody off. Luckily it will be somebody who voted for Obama. Just sayn'

Things are looking worse in California too. Consider us a leading indicator.

Shit rolls down hill and we live in the Valley.

We had a great day today though.

So you never know. I feel that if we make the clothes the people will come.

I am somewhat confident in our appeal but I have to cut costs in a big way.

I suppose it's the walk-in business that's fallen off? Not to pry (but to pry), but what percent of Lee Lee's is walk-in compared to mail order and appointment?

Have you thought about expanding your wares to include survival food, like MRE's?

Or generators?

Internet and on line marketing is the way to go. If you haven't already, you should hire someone who is well versed in that media. Linking, social networking, getting your product reviewed on other people's blogs that specialize in fashion and in the type of fashion that you market.

Marketing on the net is really important!

I rarely buy anything in an actual store unless I have to try it on or it is the first time I've use that brand. All internet or catalog buying. Even then the generous return policy of some places like Zappos is not a problem. Of course they have a huge volume of orders so if some come back damaged or in the case of clothing spotted, I suppose that they can absorb the loss.

You could also have a two tier marketing strategy. One for the designer [expensive] in store custom experience and the other for a more retail [online] experience.

Internet. Less employees standing around waiting for a sale. Less personnel costs. Larger exposure to other areas of the country.

Internet. Hmmm. Troop's pretty good at that stuff actually.

Don't you have an employee you think may be stealing? Fire her first.

At least you do not live in New Jersey.

Living in New Jersey is an oxymoron.

It is the one who is stealing EBL.

I just have to get her to quit instead of just firing her. This way she won't get unemployment and my rate won't go up.

You can't harass her, but you could pay someone else to, like a homeless guy. Every time she is outside, he could ask her to marry him until she's too wigged out to come to work anymore.

I don't think that's conspiracy, is it?

Consider opening a store here in Wisconsin, a place where being twenty pounds overweight is considered aneorexic.

Fucking Gray Davis was on Cavuto today 'splaining how marvelous the SCFOAMF's tax deal with Boehner's gonna be.

Cavuto could barely keep a straight face. Davis is as dumb as a box of rocks and twice as smart as Moonbeam.
