I did get a chuckle out of this one. I thought it was the best ever.

Great. Why don't you put a whoopie cushion down on the seat next.

Lem would be wise to add Darcy to his blog

Evi, check out the contributor roll at Limp Lem's Litter Box. She's been on it for a week(ish). She just hasn't posted.

It appears he dumped fabulous freeman to add her too.

It's like going to the dealer with your POS rusted out Ford Escort and having them give you a BMW even swap.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

I hope she posts there soon.

Is there a game today?

Darcy said...

Haha. Thank you.

I meant to post something this weekend and I am still having a hard time putting it together. I don't want it to be silly because I do really admire the different contributors there.

Soon.

Whatever you do will be a great post. Don't over-think it.

Remember: you're good enough, you're smart enough, and doggone, people like you.

But seriously. You'll do a wonderful job.

I saw, Sixty. About a minute after I hit 'publish' I went over there. Nice post. Forgiveness is something I struggle with as well.

Case in point: not posting at Limp Lem's Ballsack of Crazy.

No offense to the contributors.

Thank you, Sixty. And thank you, Cody.

I threw something up but that isn't the post I'm working on. I just really liked that story and wanted to share it.

Congratulations, Darcy!

I wondered how Cody knew in advance!
Now, if Lem will roll the ol' sweety meadey potato (last visit one year ago) off the blog list, I'll really be impressed.

When it comes to throwing something up, doing what it takes to get whatever is turning around inside up and out is usually a good idea and necessary to moving forward in health even if others don't particularly enjoy the outcome or it trips them up!

The part I liked best about the story posted was this line about the betrayal, anger, and bullshit experienced: "It has nothing to do with the job we're sent here to do."

Thanks, MamaM.

Mama, I knew because her name was on the list of contributors for a week. I guess you probably saw where I said that to The Cow though.

I'm a trifle ADD and OCD. I notice differences like they were flares.

I did...and am as well. Which creates real trouble and frustration for me when it comes to right/wrong outlooks and math games! I value innovation and order, and dislike chaos and rigidity

Unfortunately, creativity and impulsivity don't partner quietly or play nicely with the need for order and control. Having both tendencies has been my nemesis and my salvation.

...like they were flares

Flares! The definition covers it all from light to heat, illumination to defense : A flare, also sometimes called a fusee, is a type of pyrotechnic that produces a brilliant light or intense heat without an explosion. Flares are used for signalling, illumination, or defensive countermeasures in civilian and military applications.

God, tell me about it.
