Careful where you point that thing, ST, you could end up with a bad case of penis envy.

Wow, we could be doubles!

I've reached out to the guy as recently as Saturday. ST has a real problem letting things go. I reckon being a Cub fan makes you a professional victim.

Sorry, ricpic.

It's not exactly double, though.

Trooper, I was @ the Lee Elia game..one of the 7k fans or so. I hesitate to tell people who don't know me because they think I'm a bullshitter. I was w/ my PI partner Pat Duhig and a friend Bob Meyer. We had to keep it quiet in the near term because we were all playing hooky from work. So we weren't the "unemployed asshholes" Elia ranted about. But we had a few Old Styles in our belly and blasted Lee pretty good.

What pissed Elia off more than anything was he left his pitcher in too long. The guy had pitched a decent game. In the 6th inning he walked the leadoff hitter. The prior inning he was obviously losing it. After walking the leadoff hitter Elia goes out to talk w/ the pitcher. He leaves him in. Ken Landreaux was the next batter and he scalded on onto Sheffield Ave. The crowd really got on him and he knew he fucked up. I remember yelling "Hey Lee, how come everyone in this ballpark but you knew he was done the first time you went out there."

I've been to probably 400-500 games in my life. Some were memorable on their face. This was a miserable day, a shitty game, but it became infamous.

All hail the return of the Marvelous Meade!

That doesn't look like me at all, Troop.

My hair is completely white and I've got a bald spot.

The ladies love to rub their boos on my bald spot.

That's "boobs," not "boos."

Although, since I haven't seen one in the flesh for a while, I won't vouch for that.

That sort of pate-play is good for the goose and gander alike.
